The knights were gone when buderis got hurt. I'm so wish Danny could have retired better than that for a past game. A true gentlemen and champion of the game.

There's always the "if" factor. What if Buderus didn't get injured ? What if BWS' very forward pass was picked up by the 2 refs and/or 2 touchies. What if Kurt Gidley was playing ? What if Souths ..... Bla, bla, ..... WTF.

Weiry we have some redneck park footy for ya I remember watching a 17 yo Greg ingliss playing in this comp. SP I'm going for the tigers for ya. They have looked good in the last few weeks.
I'm still coming to grips at how the grand final is being played in ipswitch, WTF.
Chrsipy like a few things local, before the comp starts the team who wins the premiership hosts the GF,like the local soccer comp the GF was hosted by the premiers who did not feature on the day.Going for the Tigers the club house was great on a Wednesday Friday night, believe Lacey also hang out at this place at some point in time.Music wise I was into The Dead Kennedy's,he was into The Seven Ballerinas.

That's not correct Mac. Ever since I have lived here they have played at Lang park even the major sponsor intrust are not happy with theys move, they were not even consulted about the move

Sh1t hold the phone Vanders just rang out

Mac this is the first year they have done it,and yes Ipswich did win. At one stage a few weeks ago people were losing it,for the the fact if the jets made the gf they would be at home. Plus they lose some prestige not playing at Lang park.
I haven't followed the story but that's what the local sports do,back in the day Lang Park would be packed even people sitting on the inside of the fence, now can't fill one side its a shame its still a great comp.
It will be funny this week as the GF is played out between 2 teams rom RL heartland - the Eastern Suburbs and Northern Beaches......and the 2 half-backs come from the RL nursery of St Ives.
I'm finding the way Gus Gould changes tack in the middle of his commentary from one minute to the next. His harping on about BWS is getting close is unnatural, even at his worse Bill Laurie was never this bad with Mark Waugh.
OK does anyone know what time the TV coverage starts this SundayI saw part of a channel 9 ad which said 5.30. I believed it was an afternoon game this year

Same as last year Mac. The day starts off early,I like watching it all.....FIRE MEAT BEERS yeeeeeeew
I am not watching this years GF.....no need .......I will be away camping a long way from a TV set. I will need to decide who to listen to 702 ABC or 2GB instead unless the surf is pumping - and conditions looking reasonable
Good luck Dazzler & Ted. I'm cheering for your team this Sunday. They used to be called the Eastern Suburbs Roosters but I can assure you they don't rule the East. You can draw a line down Coogee Bay Rd to divide Rabbitoh's supporters from Roosters. Rabbits to the South and Roosters to the north. The rivalry has been around since 1908. I can assure you it would take a brave Rooster to drive through my local with roosters banners hanging of their car if they win. Go the SeaEagles.
