probably be too big and too south unless you want to brave the outside point and the current is nuts when its over 6feet..there are other options!

Yes I concur...SP and I were using secret code for a place south of you actually - a spot that involves the clubbing of certain fat blubbered warm blooded creatures

That's no code Ted. That's a deadset giveaway.

It was discussed with a mate this arvo, we were thinking it might be maybe 6 ft in the morning. But the swell hasn't really pumped through yet, Couldn't convince him it was a good idea anyway, hes got 3 kids under 6, bloody family duties..

And yes Scotty, it is a horrible clue... But then it's not a very well kept secret.

Chaps,

Just checking that this Plomer trip is still a go. I was always planning to be there for the Friday and Saturday, then head north, possibly ending up visiting my sons on the GC.

Any update?

I'm going no matter what because my real destination is woopi.

So for me, PP is just a bit of a diversion.

If no one is there, I just keep driving.

If a bunch of long boarders are going to crowdy that weekend, then it may be an excellent excuse for me to go somewhere where they are not going.

And if you'll pardon the pun, because elsewhere will be less crowdy

Unless I can find out who owns the G&S now so I can ask them if I can take a pic of it, then I guess I'm going to have to cough up with the beers, because I don't own it any more.

I've taken inspiration from the spazz and followed through with my threat, in its place I know have an absolute behemoth of a board.

It's a 12' munoz and I'm sacred sh1tless about the prospects of taking her out.

so u have brought a 12 footer Ian? Thats unreal. Can not wait to see that at PP. You will be getting rides from out the back all the way through to the beach! Jeepers. I have seen Big Spazz out on his small 11'6" and he just dominates. He catches waves before the waves have even decided to become waves!

The Arrow will be the next to go.

It's not that it's a bad noserider, it's a great one, but i either need to be 10kg lighter or it needs to be a half inch thicker.

And I don't think either of those things are going to happen soon.

What's really outstanding about the arrow is the underside. If I could have the underside with maybe 2 inches more on the length, and maybe a moon tail along with a harder edge on the tail, plus the extra thickness, I may have the noserider that suits me.

I once spoke to a local shaper with a machine about doing me a board based on the arrow bottom, but I chickened out.

If we catch each other on the Saturday, we'll talk about it.
