Can also see the difficulty in swapping days from a risk management point of view. Possibly have boats and the like tee'd up for Saturday that may not be possible to move to Sunday.

Anyway, Saturday's forecast kind of looks good for the Ace anyway.

Sam.

Very true Sammy. Any spare Ace's laying around haha
Nothing spare big fella. Once again learnt on Sunday not to loan you fast gear as it just winds up hurting me.

Got a spare Whopper if you're keen though!

Sam.

haha might give the Whopper a miss, what about that Jav...

I Agree its great to have plenty of events, but also agree that if you want more people to get involved having them on a weekend would help.

good luck to all

How's that; now it looks like it is going to blow NE on Saturday? If it does the simple solution for a good downwinder would be to go for a late start and reverse the course. The only drama might be paddling into a southerly swell. Something needs to be challenging?

(wish I had an ocean paddle board!)

Hi Matt,

No joy with the link from what I can see.

Great to see good numbers for the race despite relatively poor conditions. Looks like plenty of talent on the way up the ranks when you look at the juniors and how well guys like Dane Hurst paddled after only a short time on SUPs.

Also what a great venue to race at. Bring on the day when we race there when the Nor-easter is firing. Amazing.

Sam.

Here is a link to then 10km downwind race held yesterday. Congrats to Sam Parker for getting line honors in under 58mins. Ahead of Wil Anido (2nd) and Dane Hurst (3rd). 31 competitors in all was a great turn out, but yeah a powering nor-easter would have been ideal for that course.

Yeh, great day. Excellent turn out and well done to Sammy, Will and Dane. Feeling it today...

Today's races were tough with a 15knt tail wind and then head wind into the tide. Was a good weekend and good to put some faces to names as well as meet some new people.
