Often when your on a SUP you end up being the pied piper! People see you catching waves and automatically think that they will catch them too in the same spot.

Absolutely Phill!! Isos in Perth is crowded whenever it's surfable by mal-riders who think it's their break. They forget that it used to be a shortboard break before mals came back with a vengeance in the 80's. Shortboarders don't bother any more.

Nevertheless, we used to have it to ourselves when it was too small for the mals (said it before on this Forum, but one more time for those who missed it: one morning in autumn '08, just 2 people out: yours truly & Tom Carroll supping small Isos), had some great days, but now they see us out there & think "hey, it is surfable"

Ah well, lot of them are used to us now, & apart from one grumpy ol' bugger, most of them chat to us, & I've even had a couple call me onto waves!!

Ummmmm yerrrrrrr...... tha Dog really does have the best life!

Yet why o why does he still complain that he only got 5 hrs of surfing in today? Anyone have a spare desk job for him, so he could learn about a real job and give him a reason to complain!

And no the house reno's are NOT finished but at least he sucked up and cooked dinner!

Just wondering tho, can you teach a Dog to do the dishes???

................ and yes the one who cooks shouldn't clean but the Dog tends to cook as messy as he eats and uses every pot, plate, pan, knife, spoon, fork, bone, flea etc etc (you get the picture)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With interest I have read posts about surfing laceys last Sunday morning.
As a ski rider who has surfed there well before you people appeared I am appalled at the way almost all of you try and hog the waves, especially the set waves out the back. all surfers are getting sick of your ways. some of you showed no regard getting on waves early.

hey surfskier, did you cop the crowd today. i saw four goatboater's doing more appalling acts of disregard then i've ever seen sups do. mind you, the shortboards and mals were cannibalizing were each other too. a dog eat dog day
