Hi guys - been been feeling a bit ragged the last week so rather than whinge about it and the lack of surf I decided to get some quality time with Jazz - and its been absolutely wonderful re-hab (in so many ways)
Each morning (very early) I have been saddling up the mutt, throwing her on the sup and just heading up Tally creek and stopping at sandbanks for a play and swim - hey it's so good for the soul (and the little ahsoul foxy when she takes of after seagulls and crabs and won't come back)
You wouldn't think this was a saturday morning on the Goldy hey
Billboard, my mate & I paddled past you this morning & saw you parked up on the sand bank with the hound have a run around. Lucky he didn't get taken by a stingray!!
Yeah I saw you guys cruising past looking very relaxed - it's a beautiful spot for a chilled paddle hey. I put the little turd on the island and she wasn't keen to come back on the board I tell ya And - yeah it certainly is stingray heaven - I have never ever seen so many as what hang around that corner.
Fun in the sun at Tally this morning - cruising and chilling with friends and trying out some new toys - met up with a guy I taught to sup nearly two years ago and got to talk ship with some really nice people.
Luckily the last shot is of me on a new naish but it's too far away to actually prove it - so I can kinda deny it I suppose.
no you can't I saw you on it I was wondering what you guy's were upto spending a lot of time chin wagging and not a heap of paddling going on. It was good to see the kids having a go though.

Mate every time I see young kids on sups I so wish that sup had been around when I was younger cos I reckon sup is going to give rise to a whole new generation of water-kids, that are so much fitter, stronger and more disciplined than surfers of days gone by - I very much envy them. And yes - there was way more talking than paddling done today (and the quick paddle on the naish was a dare)
