yer i went to townsville a couple of weeks ago and had the idea of going to the pound and getting a dog to take on my paddles up there [just incase a croc turned up ] you can work the re3st out what the dog was for.[}:)]

Not liking what I've just witnessed,hey we may be Longboarders first but some of us enjoy the sup too,so why can't we talk about sup in the Longboard forumAs Billboard said we are never serious like some forums and just a few mates taking the piss on one another,so why TF would you move his topic in here

Well said Beerssup,problem is some forums are full of piss taking fun with mates and others are full of heroes,go figure.

For the record that wild bird who hi-jacked the sup forum by moving a topic from the longboard forum is a true Galah and should fix his or she wrongs

i say move it back. billboards got a bad reputation to up hold in the sup forum. a feel good post is just going to ruin it for him

Yep, I agree. I only opened this as I was sure it was Bill spanking on about someone or creating mischief.

I open it and get this nicey nice stuff, so dissapointed!

Bill, keep the nice stuff for the old and frail in the Longboard room. Everyone on the SUP forum just wants to be grumpy and we won't have you spoiling our day!

Some of the SUP fathfull have been spotted in the SB room as well, WTF is going on people [}:)]

That is soooooo cute - love it

The more pics of dogs surfing that I see, the more it becomes apparent that, the ones with the least knowledge seem to be having the most fun.

I've had so many emails from pupsup'ers this week that I reckon there is enough interest in running a pupsup nationals next year

Can anyone on or near the goldy who has surfing/boating dogs recommend really good pfd's for pooches that don't cost the earth. I am using a cheapy bcf one at the moment thats ok whilst she's in flatwater but when she gets a bit older I want something way better for open water.

Mate the one I have on Pixie in my avatar is from Kmart it is full adjustable about $30 and works really well I will bring it when I see you next and you can demo it on Jazz

Thats just a magic photo - in some ways it just sums up what this sup thing is all about I reckon - what I mean, is that essentually surfing is surfing but sup is "whatever the hell you want it to be". We have to stop taking ourselves so seriously and trying to keep up with the jones's and just follow our own path and enjoy it. Personally I'm enjoying it more than ever despite my physical limitations and I just love every second that Im out paddling with my dog or catching a few little waves down the coast with a couple of like-minded mates. Interestingly I've been trading emails the last week with sup'ers like me who've almost gone full circle back to the beginning where they are getting back to cruisey allround boards and spending more time paddling with their wives, kids, dogs and just getting the biggest buzz out of it - maybe we're getting old - I like to think we are just smart enough to have figured it out
