I was looking around the web for some wheel information and something just passed through my head[}:)] Yes TP1 it could have been a bullet
The thought happened to be about Brakes on Land Yachts; Thinking about the Power source of our sport and it dynamic I would think brakes would be a dangerous addition in certain circumstances ie. We are traveling fairly quickly and are hit by a goodly Gust which lifts our upwind wheel. If we hit the brakes under this scenario would it not offer further resistance to the forward motion of the LY increasing wind pressure on the sail in turn lifting the wheel higher leading to a crash. Add to this a turn adding Centrifugal Force to an already bad situation = Crash ?? We are better without a brake unless coming to a halt among a other yachts and parking. I personally find that if one swings around and brings the machine in upwind that I can quietly come in behind my Ute, use a foot to quietly stop and step out of the Razor without incident. So what need a Brake. Parked nose upwind and tether the front wheel to the Tow Bar and go take a "Jimmy Riddle"

I thought that is what a land yacht is. As in extreme sport for geriatrics.

PS; Yes I am getting stronger by the day now but that won't speed up the healing of the Sternum.. Probably won't be able to sail for another 3 months..

Well stop coughing, cussin' and splutterin' so much and Ya might heal a bit quicker.

My Uncle had the same op and he reckoned the worst pain was from all the bruising and stretching of tendons attached to ribs etc.

He reckoned they used a fibro cutter on his sternum.

Yup! Cisco, I reckon he was just about right there though the Vein Harvest sight is a bit on the tender side as well. As per earlier photo'. They ripped me from Ankle to near crotch.
TP1, I would have thought by now you would have learned that I is Tougher'n Bear Soup and twice as Stinkin'
