"Average edit" is pretty harsh!

I love the rawness not give a F@#k attitude of this 10 year old video, i think that adds to its awesomeness.

Anyway to stay on subject, kites used to be not too bad at most things. Today you have some specialist kites that are actually terrible at other disciplines. You can actually do freestyle on some wave kites, but some are way worse than 10 year old kites! I have ridden 5 line c kites for a very long time now, tried many other kites in between and never found something as good for freestyle, and in waves while newer waves kites are better in some situations - i just couldnt $ care $. I think some new designs are so easy to ride/depower that unhooking now has become a huge skill gap for users of these kites., and even hooked in freestyle tricks.

To sum up I think recent specialist kite design has made kiteboarding worse overall for the parts of it i like - waves and freestyle. When naish has a 2017 product video that takes up 30mins to explain why a kite is right for you - you start to smell bull****... and it is bull****.

Enjoy kiteboarding with an allround kite. Many C kites to me are allround kites, what the companies pimp is a crock of ****.

I do agree, just look at cabrinha, Iv lost track of what kites they have now that's 4 line bridle.

Iv been on the rpm since October and I must say it's probably been the best alrounder Iv had. Even tho there is zero slack if the kites a little high, it just feels really nice and stable unhooked.
