when i've handed the past two uni assignments late by up to 3 days for various reasons of the wind being up and gone kiting, the wind being cheeky and going for multiple drives in the day to check the beach out if its up and even when i know its down bad, reading just about every forum topic, dreaming over buying kite stuff off here, opening up every single weather observation site and having one site related to uni open or nothing at all... and finally when you get dreams of having a good kiting sesh in the whitsundays and ocean girls comes out of no where with her whale friend charlie to alert us 20 great whites are on the way to eat us so we do a massive down winder to airlie and ocean girl jumps on my back like sir richard branson's gf does in a photo on another forum here somehwere and we head to shore for beers...

When you hit a fox on the way home from Portsmouth/Hayling Island and write-off the car you bought 10 days earlier, but still go home and order that drysuit cos the water here is FREEZING!!!! I'll deal with the car later!
You convince your parents to buy a beach house in McCrae on Point Nepean Rd by highlighting the fact that bricks and mortar on the beach is a sound investment....Yet you just look forward to your new HQ.
you put off a shoulder surgery just in case the wind is going to come back, so you dont miss out , when there is no wind you lay out all your boards and say they are so good to look at.
you get your car window smashed and your board stolen, then decide you will spend the last of your weeks money on buying a new board and some tape to fix your window!
u hav just had a hip replacement and surgeon sais "well if its something u really want 2 do" so within a week i treat myself 2 a new kite and board. time 4 some fresh sand in my car anyways
You sell your late model BMW sports car - with the M sports pack and all the sexy electronmic gizmo's - and buy a second hand family station wagon so you can permanently have all of your kites and boards and associated stuff in the car and ready to go!
