Absolutely. See more & more of the City to Trigg crew ignoring the declared no go zone bw Brighton & Contacios.
Loop out & back in around the Amphitheatre area or risk another Mullaloo battle.

p.s. "Responsible" in my opinion would mean not getting in a situation like that to begin with. Everyone is free to do as they wish, I'm just of the opinion that stuff like this is real bad look for a sport as small as our own, we are at the bottom of the food chain after all.

I went for a down winder on Saturday with a bunch of lads who dont normally/never do the City-Trigg run.

There was ~10 of us.
I know the rules and I guess I assumed they did too.

Once we went around the City Beach rocks, it dawned quite quickly these lads had no idea about the "Zones"

They were jumping close to shore at Citys ect- might be the lads you were referring to.

I did my best to tell them while we were kiting that its a no go, but yeah... pretty hard when there is one of you and 9 others doing there own thing.

Moral of the story, people still are not aware of the rules- for what ever reason.
If you're kiting with new mates, just ask if they are aware of the zones.
