I cannot name a single thing the WAKSA crew has done for a “wanker” like myself. I note that the organisation itself is SOOO popular and pro-active that a mere 25 members turned out for their recent 2012 AGM. 25 out of a membership of around 680 – some REAL good support going on there. The circle of friends I kite with is larger than 25 people!

I kite, I do it well and I do it safely showing respect for other kiters and beach users. The beach and ocean is out there for all to use and share.
I do not see a need for organisations such as WAKSA which take it upon themselves to be the “voice” of kite surfing. They breeds fools who think they are better than others (and flash their little plastic dongles to prove it), when in fact they are generally just people who join a club due to their inability to make mates in another forum.
