With no alcohol in it, they should rename it Jizz.

Yep i love the 150 lashes. But have bought my first case of coopers pale ale, very nice for less than the cost of the 150 lashes.

Speaking of beer, I'm drinking a local rye IPA at the moment, holy crap! It still has barley in it, I don't know what proportions of barley vs. rye are (though barley comes earlier on the ingredients list, indicating it is more), but it's a little quirky...

Speaking of beer ,the poor mans Corona ,Cantina is quite palatable at "St Dans" ($39 a carton =$1.62 per beer)
When you translate it that way its a truckload cheaper than service station water.
I realise that business owners have to make a profit but being charged $8 at a "bar" for a "scmiddie"(between a schooner and middie) has complete knobs on it.

Maybe frank summed it up best,

"You can't be a Real Country unless you have a BEER and an airline - it helps if you have some kind of a football team or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a BEER."

A little tip for the homebrewers also in hot climates. I used to use a fan and wet towel to keep the fermenter at the sweet spot(coolgardie cooler). If it got very hot I put an ice brick on the lid with a shopping/freezer bag over it. It worked pretty well, always around 22c BUT I have found that I can put the fermenter in my bar fridge(turned off) with a ice brick on the lid and it is good for 12hrs and sits at 18-19c. I was going to get the fridge thermostat thingy that the fridge plugs into and maintains a stable temp but now I don't need to.

Mmmm really looking forward to the next Pale Ale!! Extra Extra Awesomeness.

FWIW to the homebrew naysayers I had some fussy friends over last weekend who BYO'ed, end result.......No home brew but I have lots of commercial beer left over.

Invite Flyboy over, judging by his tastes I'm sure he'll swill that commercial crap for you.

You're nearly there, jump on Ebay and buy yourself an STC-1000.

Cheers, yeah that's the one but since it's holding such a stable temp now and it's 30c outside I'll just be tight and lazy and keep it the same for summer. When it gets colder the fridge will be too cold so I'll get the STC-1000 then.

Really need to try making some of my own.

Had to laugh down at bws today Carlton Draught at $52 on SPECIAL??!! When did that happen? (Been drinking emu export for a long time, fits in the esky better for fishing )

Nothing wrong with the stuff but I dunno about them belonging in the 50 bucks plus selection.

+100 for this

I had the Torpedo, so overly bitter it tasted like poison, but I had to finish it, it's 7.2%

Exactly, me too, and cos it cost $15.

Take an Atomic or IPA any day over it.

Was lucky enough to get my hands on some dogfish head beers yesterday. Very pricey but worth it

Got the 60min IPA, 90min IPA, Midas Touch and Palo Santo Marron.
