While the original post to this thread (the picture) has been shown to be a fake or modified, the point of the thread is to show the lack of moral fortitude most of the elected leaders of this country have or do not have.

The question is "Can persons of doubtful sexual proclivities be trusted to act in the best interests of the overall population?"

I don't think it matters one way or the other. Whatever sexuality she practices, it only affects herself, her sexual partners and perhaps her family. Perhaps someone who has suffered for their sexuality will make a better politician because they know what it is like to be persecuted by the state for who they are. Thus they may side more with personal freedom than state regulation and control.

Some of the worst dictators and mass murderers were loving fathers and fine family men. I'd rather have a sexual deviant as our country's political leader if he left us alone to get on with our lives than an upstanding family man who went to church on Sundays who expanded the state so all are part and dependent upon the state.

Why would a lesbian be a person of doubtful sexual proclivity? I would imagine that gay people don't find anything doubtful about it. And how exactly does that reflect on their morality? Just because a woman feels attracted to other women, I don't see how that automatically makes them depraved or likely to commit atrocities.

Once again in this thread cisco, all you've managed to do is show yourself to be a dick. I can see you're going to get good use out of that shovel I bought you for christmas.

Is the allegedly elected prime minister of the country I love and live in a lesbian, an athiest, or even a person with strong moral standards??

Are these unreasonable things to know of a prime minister of a country or is it only something to be swept under the carpet of Political Correctness funky??

So, like, it is "anything goes" is it?? How can people have faith in that kind of system.

Seems like you think you have a handle on my moral standards. What are your's funky??

The strangest rant.... little bit homophobic are we??? God fearing, all believing, rejecting others for being immoral if they have different opinions from you.

Reminds me of a Will Smith film I watched the other day... Have you ever had a wank in the shower? Have you ever had a homosexual thought? WTF has it got to do with you?

And of course your "admission" of hetrosexuality naturally means that you must call Lesbians as somehow deviants and not to be trusted. And gay men are what?******s? It's just pretty pathetic really that a grown man in 2011 has your views and even more pathetic that you seem to take delight in showing your ignorance. This thread started out with you posting a clearly fudged right wing smear on Gillard. And when it was pointed out to you(like you needed to be told) you retreated into throwing **** at the character of ALL gay people. That was miserable. So you've dug this big hole, I suggest you just get in it and get busy with that shovel.

It is my bed, I made it and I am quite happy to lay in it.

The last great Labor leader that showed outstanding moral fortitude was John Curtin IMO when he defied the British Imperialists by bringing our troops home instead of letting them be sacrificed at Singapore.

Those since have evolved into a bunch of silver tails (see Aussie Bob and cheating Keating) until this last transmogrification into a red topped ranga who cares less about the people she is supposed to be leading than her political correct agenda.

I did have some hope when Rudd got in because he seems to be a stand up guy but he failed to recognise the snake that would later bite him.

The royal family might be reptillians but the ranga definitely is.

Politicians and diapers have one thing in common. They should both be changed regularly, and for the same reason.

"Juliar" must be the dumbest word of 2011 by a country mile and anyone who uses it regularly just looks like an alan jones loving twit.

Politics is the art of reaching the best agreement possible in the given circumstances.

Juliar is a name, in this case a descriptive name like Kiteboy and it's used to identify the person.
I find it fulfils it's purpose of uniquely identifying that person we call our prime minister, the representative of our nation.
A country mile is just as long as a standard mile, but she is the most dishonest politician Australia has ever had.
She makes Mark Latham look sane.
Australia dodged a bullet with Latham, but we copped it with her.

She deceived her way in to power and day she's removed will be a good day for Australia.

So seriously, when's Kevin coming back?

It wont be Kevin , It will be Simon Crean

Sands, I'm not sure if your serious or your a fan of Simons but he has less factional support than Rudd. Rudd has 25 votes tops inside the parliamentary party and maybe more outside but the support just isn't there for a topple. Gillard has strong support across the factions and the feeling inside the party is that she can defeat Abbott in a contest for prime minister..... a very different thing from opinion polls. If and I say if there was a spill , and I just can't understand how there could be, then the party would go forward rather than backward, so you'd be looking at Smith, Combet(incredible cross factional support)and Wong(can you imagine that.... an unmarried, lesso, Asian with a child....Cisco's brain just exploded ). Lindsay Tanner where are you?
