Little known fact of the day:

In the 30 year history of Seabreeze.com.au Carantoc is the only forum-er never to have received a red-thumb vote.

To achieve balance in the SB universe and stop the Great Turtle from flipping over, 'Other Carantoc' by contrast has more red thumbs than a blind carpenter. The Committee of Normal judged 87.2% of his posts to be unbalanced.

87.2% of seabreeze forum facts are later proved to stand corrected (empirically by the peer review scientific process).

But the burden of proof does not lie with Carantoc.

So for now let's just go with it.

Is Saint Carantoc better than Carantoc, Other Carantoc and Carantoc6? Just asking for a bunch of old blokes calling themselves The Conclave.

Council members must be neutralized at birth. As Carantoc must have performed a miracle to become a saint, there is a conflict of interests that can no longer be ignored. I call for a meeting of the council of normal peoples at Varsity in Freo this Friday to partake in the happy hour (5-6pm) $10 jugs to discuss the infraction and leave happier than we arrived.

On a slightly different topic, it is traditionally up to the new Pope to name themselves.

I heard a rumour the bookies are giving odds of 87.2% that they are going to be declaring themselves as Pope Carantoc the First.

I also heard that they are very, very unlikely to go with Pope myscreenname or Pope FormulaNova.

Makes ya wonder who reads these pages.

Esteemed fellow council member Mark_australia

Beer. Only beer. All food groups in one. No need for that bowel bulldozer they call food, plenty of good restaurants in Freo if you want to eat. Plus I got it wrong for Varsity, Thursday=cheap jugs, Friday=cheap pints. Two nights of beer for dinner.

All the best

Bleedin' Nora! I misread that as 'Council members must be neuterised at birth'! (the Castrati Council maybe?)

One of my local pubs (The Hotel Northbridge on Lake St) has $7 pints always - I think it's Northbridge Brewing Co Draught.
I think in the interests of the SB maxim 'doing your own research', I should investigate this further when I walk the doggo.

^^^ the council of normal people (CONP) are mandated to counter the radicalisation of this most excellent 90s water sports forum.

Social media has morphed to empower stupidity. It favors controversy over consensus, certainty over nuance, simplicity over complexity, and propaganda over knowledge-truth. At the very least, CONP encourage completing your own research at local breweries and bars to support local businesses and to confirm your new found truths at the bottom of each and every glass.

Brew on Breezers.

Is this Varsity thing a thing or just Brent being hopeful? Need to know if I have a midday nap tomorrow**

I also need the council to advise me if my Virtue Signalling has got static, as it seems there is a disparity in what is funny with an ummmmm 'man of colour' in funny images and what is not funny...? If I am to moderate I need to know just how moderate my moderating should be.

** and better offers from a gender other than Brent's - if received in time - will be placed ahead of his but still may end up at a Freo pub if they're lucky I guess

I wandered down with my doggo to The Hotel Northbridge for my $7 pint. Cossie livs! It's gone up to $7.50 for a big brand bland. But sitting out on the street in warm autumnal afternoon sun watching the world go by while the bar staff slipped a veritable feed of treats to my dog, has gone back on my To-Do list. Right up near the top.

Doing my homework for members. Occy's pub in Dunsborough. Happy (two) Hour $8 pints from a range of 16 odd beers. Dried Fish treats for the doggo. Five stars.
(No sign of Frothie in the park either)
