Not the way I read it, but I'm not a Christian, so didn't get all defensive about it.
Cammd is NQR. He belongs to a small minority of Christians and is a true hypocrite in this country: He's a denier of war crimes committed by Benjamin Netanyahu and the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza, he is an anti abortionist (Cammd is on the right, with some freaky Christian mates) He is an extreme right trumptard and is on the wrong side of history.

As for Japie, I have no problem with him. He often posts funny and interesting perspectives. Generally I enjoy his contributions.
However, I take exception with a single offensive and racist post. Especially after mods told us explicity such posts will result in a permanent ban.
The memes perceived humor is based on a false and mean-spirited assumption that all men with brown skin are rapists.

When I first saw Japie's meme I laughed, because I thought it was a dark joke about blokes in general. Then he posted that it was related to immigration, which put it straight in the bigoted generalisation box for me. I thin did a reverse image search and that image appeared on hundreds of Facebook and Twitter feeds. Almost all of them run by racists and RWNJs. I enjoy most of Japie's other posts, so I hope he throws himself at the mercy of the elected council of self moderators, and gets to hang around.

The reason I don't find you funny is that you appear to be a bully. The type that jams words down other people's throats. You don't logically argue things, you get abusive and then start ranting about whatever you want it to say.

I've been suspended for needling an architect. not a particularly difficult task to get that fella riled up, running to the mods (now council?) with a long list of complaints that saw him get himself suspended and some forum peace for a week

Also i think we need to avoid having anyone like MSN who would try have other members removed at the drop of a hat just because they have personal grivences wifar far away from any sort of administrative rights or influence.

I think most people don't even bother to green thumb. The red thumb thing became one of those things like internet reviews; people would not bother to green thumb/upvote but would happily red thumb away when they wanted to, whether it was a bad comment or if they dislike the person.
I think whoever measured it said some people were absolutely hitting the limit on red thumbs but not even using the green thumbs at all.
Even now, I feel like I am the only one that bothers to green thumb some posts. On the funny images people use them, but elsewhere?
Reddit uses thumbs a bit differently though I think and hides posts if they are downvoted enough.
It's a forum though. There are plenty of people out there reading posts, but not actively posting. How do you change that?
