I think we have seen a trend where PcD rarely engages with the previous posts, so I doubt there be any further reflection on his actions. He could have used a wide shot of a football crowd all cheering/booing, a Taylor Swift concert or even a North Korean military parade but instead he used a Nazi image. The debate continues whether he is deliberately trolling, but for me, the image has no place in STB and should be removed.

He's fake without substance and conviction. Hard to see him as just being someone with an alternative view, as he says. But I dont see him as a troll - I think he has good intentions.
Likely just another sad sad character, who just lost his way somewhere on this mortal coil.
I'd be happy for him to find somewhere else to post. If not maybe set up a 'pete' thread where we could all go to put forward alternative theories about the STB eccentric.

Well all my posts challenging PcDefenders use of Nazi symbolising have been removed, but happily so have Pcdefenders lowest posts yet. Perhaps he could revisit how I have Stockholm Syndrome, without implying I am Nazi this time.

Yeah, there's new laws banning free speech in regards to Nazis so it's not surprising that the line was easily crossed. Although it's easy to see his point given parallels could be drawn between Nazi Germany and lockdown Melbourne. A well managed mitigation plan would've offered no such parallels.

Hey, you must be talking about me! My comprehension is rubbish sometimes.
Nazi Germany was probably fine unless you were Jewish or any other minority that were targeted. What minority were you in in Melbourne? Did the persecution make you feel that the police were trying to exterminate you?
As an aside, not being a parallel to lockdown Melbourne at all, but I have heard stories of Nazi Germany prevented people from hugging each other and making sure that their food and alcohol deliveries were cut off. Are these stories true? It must have been a terrible time.
Here in WA things were much easier. There are less people, there is more space, so lockdown wasn't really as challenging as Melbourne. Less interaction with other states and shared borders are a long way away. So easy to do when things are different.
Lockdown in Victoria was as draconian as you could get as far as the pandemic was concerned. People couldn't travel more than 5km from their home, curfews, mandatory masks, no visitors, shops playgrounds, school and many businesses were forced to close to keep us 'safe'. Despite these rules, Victoria performed the worst in Australia with infections and deaths.
The same government making these rules sent the staff who policed a few of the covid outbreaks to then work in the nursing homes.
Looking back, it seems almost unbelievable what the government put us through.
But it's absurd to draw any comparisons between Victoria and Nazi Germany.
