If you really care and want to make a difference, I think you might be able to find somewhere that wants these topics, instead of the mods saying no and closing them time after time. It's the reason general is now hidden out of sight from everyone, and lots got banned.

If your massively passionate to make a change, good go for it, but I doubt the few here will make any difference to your cause and life now after choosing to take the jab.

For me, what has bought the site down has been the personal insults, name calling, and general childish behaviour. I'm not talking about COVID or CT threads, I'm talking about the general downward spiral of poor behaviour that has occurred in STB over time. This channel is for discussion of general things and it's pretty easy to not open a thread on a topic that doesn't interest you. I've tried to write some well thought out posts on topics such as crypto and COVID to have genuine discussion, but it is pretty impossible to get intelligent and respectful debate on anything here as people shoot from the hip with their personal attacks right from the start. It always surprises me how little people are able to objectively consider and discuss views that don't align with their own. If people could do that, then the controversial topics might not instantly turn into the **** show that they always seem to. The crypto threads have been a classic case here as, for me, it is a fascinating international experiment in questionable economics mixed with human behaviour, but I've been unable to ever elicit a response that wasn't emotionally charged or tried to genuinely address any of the points I've raised, so eventually gave up. Yeah there's a couple of CT nutters here that I'm surprised aren't shut down immediately - surely Pcdefender is half taking the piss? Who is it anyway, I used to think maybe Pete, but I don't think so now, he's more sensible than that and is more quirk than nut.

Where have I spread information on New World Order or Crypto currency? Isn't there an active thread on Seabreeze about that?
As for taking a few beers, sitting on the beach and thinking what a good ride it is, that might be applicable to you however not everyone is having a good ride. By silencing this discussion I feel it's being insensitive to people like ok & Harrow's family and others who have been injured. Imagine getting the threat you'd lose your job if you don't get vaccinated, getting injured by the product you were told was completely safe, you're life completely disrupted, you try to chat about the topic and then society telling you to stop being a Karen/CTist, just sink a few beers and think about how great everything is. You would imagine it wouldn't be received very well.
I'm perfectly fine chatting about anything. It's a shame we have to censor topics in general. I don't type any of this in anger. It's more about putting another side to the discussion & giving respect to the injured & people that have lost their livelihood.
But whatever....I'm off windsurfing today again....you don't have to worry about me, I'm at the beach more than most, drinking smoothies not beer.

Didn't realize people take pred for covid, what does it help with? I enjoyed punching down pred for first couple of weeks. But, agree.... not something you want to be taking long term.

It's not directly for COVID, it's to manage the inflammation of the health condition that resulted from the vaccine. But as you may know, prednisone affects your immune system. We were getting simple infections that just wouldn't go away no matter what anti-biotics or other treatment was tried and were in danger of losing digits and developing septicemia. Two weeks after coming off the prednisone, the bodies own natural immune system got rid of the infections.

When your body thinks the vaccine is a virus and the spike protein keeps replicating in your body it triggers an immune response. In my case myocarditis and pericarditis. The prednisone is to turn my immune system off. As soon as I stop taking the prednisone my body comes out in rashes and my heart goes crazy again.
The prednisone and other anti inflammatories I'm on also give me severe stomach ulcers n throat ulcers.
Another thing that's not easy to forget or just move on from as the person above suggested.
