True, have to de stress sometimes forget about the bullsh#+ and go for a kite. Just been playing catch up after them shutting down my party hire business.
Haven't had a day off for 3 months.
Sometimes we just have to piss off and get back in the water.
Just picked up my escape plan today.

If Australia had followed Florida's lead we would have had 99,717 deaths. We didn't, and we have only had 16,441 deaths.

Why not 997,170 if you're just inventing numbers?

16,441 deaths ... with or of? What criteria does Australia have for determining stats like that?

Pretty sure it's easy to find Florida's stats and compare to lockdown/vax mandate-happy states...

No. We had 160,000 deaths, that's approximately 0 excess deaths. Yes, if we'd followed Florida's lead we could have said 100,000 of them were Covid deaths but that still wouldn't cause a blip in all cause mortality stats. The stats the lockdown had the greatest affect on were domestic violence and abuse which more than doubled, every time someone speaks in support of lockdown I see the pain of extra lives ruined.

And i quote.....

so you can see how hospitals and the health care system are now subservient to industry rather than doing what's best for their patients.

It's strange, as it feels like so long ago, but it wasn't, that we were 'locked down' in WA.

How long were people locked down for here? The best I could find when I went looking for it a while back was that we had a few periods where we weren't allowed to travel between regions and a few short periods of days where we were limited in how many people could gather. Was there really much or am I forgetting what happened already?

WA is relatively lucky in that the population is spread out enough that lockdowns were pretty effective and not that much of an impact. Or did I get that wrong?

Melbourne on the other hand had it tough. I guess that's the challenge with a much higher density and population.

As they say ignorance is bliss. I'm in nsw. They forced shut all venues. My commercial maintenance company that provided services to these venues then was out of work. Some venues had to lay off staff which of those paid my invoices which killed my cashflow for months. Then they opened them back up BUT you had to be vaccinated to be allowed in. Silly me went and got jabbed and now not only was my business ruined by the lockdowns the vaccine has ruined my health. I even had instances where I was at friends houses during "lockdowns" and had the neighbours ring the police on us who were made to go door to door checking to see if anyone was breaking the strict useless emergency laws.Lockdowns in Victoria were evening stricter.

You've obviously forgotten the closed borders too? I tried to enter WA from NT in July of 2021. I was approved and started driving from Alice Springs. 24 hours later banned from entering the state.
It's frightening to see how quickly people are forgetting what went on and how many peoples lives were ruined by strict communist government policies.

Headlines eh ?

www.abc.net.au/news/2022-12-09/coal-gas-prices-capped-national-cabinet-deal/101755322

Sooo.... just explain this to me...

Less than 10 years ago we needed a carbon tax to increase the cost of coal and gas and make them economically unviable in 10 years time so we use less of them.
Fast forward 10 years and now we need short term emergency government intervention in the coal and gas market because they are too expensive and becoming economically unviable, and the long term solution is have more of them !!

I think for FN denial is bliss.

Head in the sand, fingers in the ears, palms over the eyes, yell out lah lah lah really loudly to yourself, and supreme bliss is achieved.

In 2022, there were 128,797 deaths that occurred by 31 August and were registered by 31 October, which is 18,671 (17.0%) more than the historical average.

You may be interested in seeing/read what the communist did in Cuba, Russia, China, Vietnam and Korea for the greater good when they took over their respective countries... it's all about breaking the will of the people so you can dictate to them in exchange for some level of freedom or luxury like, chocolate.

You'll have to point me right to the 99,717 deaths you avoided...

Florida has 40x the population density of Australia, and something like 10% more of its population over 60 IIRC (a higher median age), both of which are major factors with COVID...

WhoTF is Candace Owens and why does her (?) opinion matter to anyone?

Was just listening to a podcast with Dr Norman Swan, the ABC's Covid voice. He's now admitting that Covid could have originated in a lab. 2 years ago he said there was no chance it came from a lab and you're a conspiracy theorist if you said so. Amazing turn around of science!

They have tested our compliance since the late 2019 and the results are in....

Driving my car today i saw a couple of cyclists with their masks on

At the Thornlie library a few days ago at least two of the female employees had them on.

Who would ever have predicted such compliance only three years ago?

I am seeing increasing numbers wearing their muzzle.

When you consider there is no mask mandate in place it just goes to show how well their 24/7 fear campaign has worked.

Someone a few days ago mentioned climate lockdowns

I see a dystopian future whereby you will be awarded a social credit score based on how green you are or how much carbon you use in your daily activities

Your permit of allowable travel will then be digitally sent to you at the end of the month based on your score - think China.

It is all documented on the WEF website so do not be surprised if we start to hear about the possible need for climate lockdowns soon.

You don't need to be a soccer player to die suddenly, just being a soccer commentator is enough. Hopefully it doesn't spread to spectators too!

Maybe time to live life and stop spending all day reading click bait "Died Suddenly" conspiracy type crap from the interwebs, people.
How many hours, obviously 100's judging by the high number of return posters, of your lives are you now wasting reading, worrying, posting on social media sites about this crap instead of enjoying life outdoors?
Is whinging on Seabreeze General going to fix things for any of you?
Its funny crew complaining about lockdowns and not allowed outside to socialise etc., but once lockdowns lifted and allowed again, they stay home and read CT click bait crap and post unproved false links thinking its all true. lol

Maybe time to move on, live life instead of dwelling and wasting it.
Seabreeze General wont fix your problems, or change what has happened in the past. Get over it, move on.
but the Seabreeze outside, away from your beloved social media CT click bait crap will.
YYYYeeeeuuuuuooooooo, winds cranking right now, get out there.

If only it was that simple to just move on and go outside and forget all the overreacting and negligence by politicians.

I went outside today but had to be very careful of the sun due to the medication I'm on to repair my heart after a lockdown induced Pfizer vaccination. Guess who made money from the vaccine and is continuing to make money from those who it poisoned? Google some side effects of the below and add in prednisone long term with a long list of others.

Some people on here have had their lives ruined in the last few years. They are trying to explain to people what really went on so it doesn't happen again.

I'm afraid that box is all too familiar in my household as well now, along with the prednisone and probably the rest of a similar drug cocktail. Hope you can get off the prednisone soon. We've managed to drop it as it was having some insidious side effects.
