Names for a boy and his dog

Hunting for names for a street urchin and his female dog. We had settled on Tom and Molly but those are already registered. Oodles of name sites on the net but we are hoping for a particular Sea Breeze slant to the names. The reason for this will be unveiled in time and you will be edified when all is revealed. Edified.

I'm not sure but I would guess they are like those prickly little sea urchin things that you step on in the water up north and they leave lots of spines in your feet that fester up for months afterwards.
I suppose street urchins would be the land equivalent.
You don't see them much in the cities now because we had a little cull on them years ago and apparently it wiped out the whole species.
They're an apex predator you know.
