This one is about the actual idiots that think that things like hurricanes can be controlled by humans.
It is crazy.
I would not be so sure...
To quote you Pete, "that's laughable"
The neutrino detector is just that, a detector, it's logging the neutrinos that parse through it.
The big white ball just houses an antenna. (what the antenna is used for is another question, but it's not controlling the weather, or creating earthquakes)
This is deliberate misinformation!
You obviously did not bother to take the time to listen it.
The guy testified in front of the U.S Senate under threat of perjury but you seemingly know more lol.
If the government (read; US government) could control hurricanes, wouldn't you think they would say "well here you go Cuba, deal with this" followed by "Hey Iran, this is a shame, but it looks like a natural hurricane to us", and then maybe "Hey Putin, it looks like all your oil reserves got torn up by hurricanes. Sucks to be you."
But instead, they seem to attack their own people with hurricanes similar to the ones they have always been getting.
But I guess with all the crackpots drinking from rainwater tanks instead of the fluoride water, we can just dump some more chemtrails on them.
They buy bottled water? Well, we can just add the same stuff to the plastic.

Well, you wouldn't be unsure because you would automatically think it is true. I won't examine the detail that I just implied that anyone that thinks its true is crazy, but I think that's what I wrote above and you just held your hand up...
Tell me, is there even ONE single conspiracy theory that you think is bogus? Just one? Pick any one as there have to be thousands out there.
You obviously did not bother to take the time to listen it.

Pete, there's a very basic law of physics. "You don't get something for nothing"
How much energy do you think it would take to create a hurricane???
How big is that radar shed?
How big a power supply would fit in there?
You just get sucked in too easily

Okay with all the criticism of picking up grammar errors, you used 'parse' instead of 'pass', but I won't mention it ![]()
I am sure PM33 spotted that as well and then assigned you less credibility... You are probably in on it too.
I don't know why you would expect someone that hates science to understand what a neutrino is. It's heresy, that's what that is. Why would neutrinos need to pass through a flat earth anyway?
I went to Tim Winston's launch of his new novel "Juice". He made a lot of compelling points. Not the least of which that we will be the first generation in hundreds of years to leave a more defective world to our offspring. And we don't care.
Pcdefender will be proud.
"A wide range of misinformation has been spread as Helene and then Milton gathered pace in the Gulf of Mexico, such as claims spread by Trump that Fema had run out of cash for hurricane survivors because it has been given to illegal immigrants. Violent threats have also become common, with posts across TikTok, Facebook and X (formerly known as Twitter), alleging that Fema workers should be beaten or "arrested or shot or hung on sight".
More outlandishly, several of Trump's closest allies have baselessly asserted that the federal government is somehow controlling hurricanes. "Hurricane Helene was an ATTACK caused by Weather Manipulation," claimed a video shared by Michael Flynn, a former national security advisor to Trump.
"Yes they can control the weather," Marjorie Taylor Greene, a far-right congresswoman, wrote on X last week. "It's ridiculous for anyone to lie and say it can't be done."
This steep rise in falsehoods has drawn a sharp response from Joe Biden, who has blamed Trump for an "onslaught of lies" and told the former president to "get a life."
And as an aside, where exactly is Antartica on a flat earth?
This is where the argument falls apart. The educated people say 'well there is no flat earth and Antartica is 'there''. The idiots say 'it's all a conspiracy to stop us knowing the truth; what was the question again?'
Or they say 'bendy water, LOL'?
And as an aside, where exactly is Antartica on a flat earth?
Check mate

He is a highly accomplished novelist. Ergo a thinker. I think he is wrong about it being the first generation to leave a defective world. I read Sea of Slaughter by Farley Mowat. It confirmed my view that there is something fundamentally at fault with most of the human race. Oddly enough there is a solution. Making the decision and implementing it is another story.
Unless that happens we will continue to witness the environmental degradation until it can degrade no more and we join all those historic species that have gone extinct. Life will remain but it will be a very grey world.

There are way more of us than a generation ago. So if population is the benchmark humans are doing much better than they were last generation.

Are we leaving a more defective world for our offspring? Or are we leaving the world with more defective offspring than there has ever been?
probably both I guess. I'm using USA and Seabreezers as my sample cases since we like evidence based claims so much.
I think Tim is on the money.
Don't want to be a doomsayer, but I'm glad I'm a baby boomer living in Aus.
There are signs we are heading for a perfect storm, climate change, financial and political.
If I was in my 20s, I'd be thinking twice about having kids, The outlook doesn't seem promising.
The potential is there to be fantastic, I hope by some miracle humanity can get it's act together and deliver.
But the negative forces appear to be ascendant at the moment.
Pcdefender pretending to be smart, it's like dress-up day in primary school. Lol.
You trying to be cool is like board shorts over your wetsuit ![]()
There are signs we are heading for a perfect contrived storm, geo - engineered climate change and planned financial collapse.
Fixed it for you. Good to see you are starting to wake up

How can that be true?
We look at the world and assume it is an ideal place. It isn't.
We look at our use of fossil fuels and think 'we shouldn't have used them'. As if that was even an option. The only reason we have a developed world now is because we have had access to cheap and easy to use fuel. Everything in our society relies on this.
So you cannot really look back and say anyone was at fault for doing this. It is what was done and for a good reason.
What also is the defective bit? Human nature creates wars, it creates all sorts of problems. But this is normal human behavior.
I remember one of my grandmothers telling me 20 years ago that she felt sorry for my generation because of all the issues in the world. I think she was just watching the news too much and thought the world was falling apart, and forgetting that her generation went through world wars and the depression and nowhere near the healthcare we have now.
What's the reason people think the world is defective? They concentrate too much on the bad news on TV.
But I guess it is easy to pick a generalised scape-goat and blame them, but otherwise it is just nonsense. Just like kids blaming 'boomers' for their problem, it's just laziness to blame someone else without getting off your arse and doing anything about the problems you perceive.
Defectiveness comes in, because it's not sustainable. yes we needed it to get where we are.
But it's like the Islanders that destroyed their civilization by cutting down all the trees.
Business as usual can't continue. But there's too many forces fighting against needed change.
Fixed it for you. Good to see you are starting to wake up
There is nothing planned about this, it's just inertia.
Corporations fighting to maintain the status quo, people hooked on huge gas guzzling vehicles.
As ever, warlords fighting for more power, arms suppliers helping them to start wars.
The list goes on, this is just the defects in human nature.
Not to mention the peddlers of false information, slowing preventing needed change from happening.
( and include yourself in that Pete, you're part of the negative forces that are holding the planet back.)
changed it for me. pity I'm such an idiot.
2 can play at that game Pete.
This is a perfect example, of twisting people's words and spreading false information.
It's in effect a lie, totally changing somebody's meaning, It's what your posts are full of

I wish I could remember Tim's exact words, they were far more eloquent than mine. His point is that every generation has left a worls/environment that is generally better for their children. You only have to look at old family photos to see that this is the case. But now, many of the current adult generation, couldn't care less. I wonder how many of the selfish people don't have kids.

I think we have done another cycle into 'greed is good'. There seems to be less stigma to people making lots of money and no real concern about how they made so much money.
My own observation lately is that 'only fans models' are offering advice on things such as the cost of living and housing affordability. Then there are articles about relationships supposedly written by prostitutes. For those that are not aware, only-fans models, well at least the successful ones, are making bucket loads of money. One of them was quoted to be making $170k a month and then offered her advice on why others in her generation were stupid for wasting their money and not being able to afford to buy a house. Crazy! As for prostitues offering advice on relationships, that's just silly.
I think in the eagerness to get people to accept everyone else, people have forgotten reality. Do we want our daughters/sisters to be on;ly-fans models? Not me.
But I would disagree about leaving or not leaving the planet better for the next generation. Aside from things we cannot control, I think most people are leaving it in a better state.
I suspect every generation gets to a point where they think they have failed the next, but what were they to do that was different?
Getting back to things like the holes in the ozone layer. It's not like people discovered the effect and ignored it completely. They attempted to solve the problem, despite the economic cost. This is pretty much the way everything is going, but its only really possible once we have reached a certain level. For instance, if you think you can move to renewable wind and solar energy to replace fossil fuels, you have to recognise that we would never have gotten to the point we can do those things without using fossil fuels themselves.
Was it a bad thing to use fossil fuels to get there? Nope, it's just part of modernisation.
Mind you, I am certain that there are a tonne of kids in these younger generations that want to blame everyone else for everything else. I don't know if its accurate, but I can't remember my generation blaming the ones before me for things, but instead just accepting them and trying to make things better.
arms suppliers helping them to start wars.
You accept the arm suppliers help to start wars.........well this is not what we are told is the motivation for war on the tv.
Welcome to the ever growing side of the population that believes in conspiracy.

I can accept that arms suppliers want people to buy weapons of war, plus the service packages, ammunition, training systems, transport and 24hr support (don't forget the extended warranty).
For that to happen, people either need to be actively engaged in making war or some sort of arms race.
Peace just isn't a good market environment for them.
But that is different to saying they are reason Israel and Russia have gone to war over the last couple of years.
Yes arms dealers were probably up to their eyebrows in dodgy practices all over Russia trying to pressure and leverage decision and policy makers.
But ultimately the decision to invade Ukraine was down to Putin. And he's not really known for doing what other people tell him to do.
