Ah the vagueness, such a great tool to fool the public.

I will ask you again, what the claimed rise is according to the graph in the last 50 years?

I'll tell you again. Look at the graph. Better still read the scientific paper. Its full of things you've never heard of, hypotheses, data, analysis and more.

Very interesting, but it does show that storms have a huge impact on sand movement, and there hasn't been enough sea level rise to become obvious in all that noise yet.

lol
I don't think you understand real world observations.
Look at what is front of you, not 'their' BS
For example; 2+2 = 22
It's obvious when you see it.
Take off your science faith headset and see the world as it really is.

For the last 2 months it seems Perth has been freezing.
May and June have average max temperatures of 22.3 and 19.5 yet nearly every day it seems the max has been around 17C.
No let up in sight for the next week also.
Global Warming it seems also causes significant cooling.

Over the last 15 months since Pcdefender made his "prediction" of "significant cooling", the mean monthly maximum temperature has been 1.32 degrees above the climate average for Perth.

Have you noticed any increase in sea level in your time living in Perth?

I will take observation over their graphs anytime especially remembering the last 4 years.

I have observed a number of idiots during adulthood. But how does one compare Idiot_1 with Idiot_2? By measurement of course.

If we don't use measurement, analysis and graphical representation, it is impossible to determine who is the greater idiot. Especially remembering the last 4 years.

Classic "Motte and Bailey" or switcheroo.

Can't defend your claim that it's actually getting colder, so you switch to something related but harder for us to chase down.

It would be easier if you recorded your observations rather than just relying on your biased remembering of observations.
Did you know the BOM call their records "Observations"? Does that mean you'll accept them?

You prefer observation over graphs? Here is clear evidence of increasing sea level in your time in Perth.

Did Pcd claim it is actually getting colder ?

Or just that, to him, the warming doesn't seem to be consistent and linear.

Perhaps, rather than abuse him as an idiot, explain why warming trend doesn't have to be consistently warmer to still be a trend.

Also why record cold temperatures don't actaully disprove a warming trend.

I think the attempts at explaining ran out of patience after several bazillion attempts with no meaningful engagement. I think PcD is just very committed to trolling and enjoys the baiting. (As Decrepit said, PcD responses on the windsurfing threads are evidence that he is not a complete idiot.)
I have noticed PcD baits widely but once he has a 'hard' response he tends to concentrate on continuing to bait that responder. There is no rationale to the arguments other than to keep the respondent on the hook. So, either ignore the troll or play the game as you see fit. Just remember not to make the mistake that there is any desire to understand the world; it's just bait.

Conventional wisdom suggests not to feed them, but after some minimal reading on the subject, I'm not sure if it's that simple. Someone will always bite and if you remove a troll another will take their place.

I do something similar with women. I try and make them understand how special and desirable I am. When they decline, I then realise that they are clearly unworthy

Are you suggesting that PM33 and I have thought patterns in common and that there is a failure in logic there somewhere?

It was a nonsense question Pete.
It's been explained here that, normal tide/storm variations swamp any sea level rise at this time. Unless you set up to take detailed accurate observations every day, of min and max tide for the last 20 years or so ago. You don't have enough data to notice any difference.

But guess what, a Gv't dept has been doing just this for us. And the data is posted here for all to see.

Unaided human observation of stuff going on around us can be very deceptive. That's where critical thinking and accurate instruments come in.

So decrepit you have noticed no increase in sea level but their data takes precedence over your observation - interesting.

You seem to be concerned that their claimed data increase in sea level means we have a climate emergency regarding a rise in sea level.

I do not know a single person in Perth who has noticed any increase in sea level yet we need to take all these measures to reduce our carbon footprint to stop the impending catastrophic increase in sea level.

Sounds like something from the W.E.F.

Can't 'See' Sea Level Rise? You're Looking in the Wrong Place
"Over the past 15 to 20 years, we've been watching warm waters in the Pacific Ocean move away from the West Coast due to a shift in the PDO, a long-term ocean fluctuation pattern that's similar to the El Ni?o/La Ni?a cycles but that operates on a much larger scale, waxing and waning about every 20 to 30 years," he said. "This has served to counteract the effects of global sea level rise, so that along the U.S. Pacific Coast, we've seen almost no sea level rise over that time. But those days are over. Since the major El Ni?o of 2015-16, the PDO has shifted and the West Coast is likely to see faster-than-average sea level rise in the next 20 years. We're already beginning to see this. California, in particular, needs to prepare. We could see increases up to 1 centimeter (0.4 inch) a year, more than three times the global rate."

"During their search for historical sea-level references, the Bermuda Archives uncovered a high-quality military photograph taken in 1870 of buildings in the Royal Naval Dockyard, on the western tip of Bermuda. Captured in the photograph was the sheltered, south-facing dock wall, still in existence today due in part to its construction from blocks of dense Bermuda limestone, as well as decades of historical preservation efforts.

While the tide level at the time of the photograph was unknown, the team noticed a solid black line running the length of the dock wall, parallel to both the surface of the water and the top of the wall. Known as the "black-zone," (or the "coastal scum line" as Rouja calls it) this stable community of cyanobacteria thrives in a very specific location: just above the mean high-water mark.

A visit to Dockyard in 2007, the year the photograph was found, revealed the wall was still very much intact, along with the black-zone line running the length of it. "However, we quickly noted that there was one significant difference: the black-zone sat approximately one full block higher than it did in the 1870 photograph,"

The 3rd and 4th lines should be kept in the SB Hall of Fame last memoirs when their NWO / WEF control grid is fully in place.

So our observations cannot spot any increase but there's already been a claimed large increase in sea level - right.

And if we do not act fast many of our low lying coastal cities will soon find themselves underwater - right.

That is if you believe their data lol.
