Not true. Do the string experiment.

Do the experiment yourself. Report your findings with data. Lying is easy. But that's your speciality.

Apologies, I meant Behind the Curve

Ok, Tell me your favourite methods of proving or observing the earth is flat?

And if People have posted it on Youtube, why hasn't the global conspiracy taken it down?

WHy would I take random inteviews with people on the street as evidence.

Here's one for you.

If the Chicago Skyline being visible across a 60mile lake is evidence the Earth is Flat,
Why can't I see Rottnest Island from Mandurah?

Your field of vision can only see so far.

On a really clear day however thru a telescope.

wait, so with the naked Eye I could see more than 60 miles if I am on the shore across the lake from Chicago.

But in Mandurah my field of vision is limited to less than 30 miles?

Oh, and with Binoculars I still can't see rottnest

Take a trip to Chicago and go to the other side of the lake on a very dry day when they are not spraying and see for yourself.

And take a P1000 with you as well.

I've tried it with a high powered telescope on a very clear day, not a trace, can't even see the glow from the lighthouse on a very clear night.
I've told Pete this before, but he just ignores it.

I've also posted telephoto pics, looking from Liptons down the Harvey estuary. that's only 20km, but you can't see the other end from the beach. higher up you can.

Pete's had lots and lots of real proof the earth is curved, but it's impossible to convince him, just a waste of time trying.

Well, I'll admit I'm disappointed that you can't actually answer this. Why does your explanation for the Chicago scenario not work for Rottnest?

I'm trying to engage here, but each time you keep just trying to deflect and provide non answers.

I've watched some of the videos you have recommended and been very disappointed by them.

You said you would answer questions if I watched them.

Why should I?
You're the one trying to convince me

You need to provide the proof.
Or show me where someone has that proof.

Couldn't find it in Robs prolific YouTube collection

Stick to watching the news and current affairs then.

Just remember Gaza City is being destroyed with two million refugees soon to be offloaded to neighbouring countries and beyond.

I see no link between those statements.

While I find Israels mini genocide abhorrent, I don't see how that relates to you explaining to me why your explanation for a flat earth doesn't match what I can see for myself.

But seriously, how the hell do you think I'd be able logistically carry out your string experiment?

I think D3 is a loser who cannot afford any of the carbon-fiber nanotech string required to try this experiment for himself or the stanchions to support it. Instead of admitting his poor finances, he is pretending the earth is round.... what a loser.

Have you got the mile and a bit string that you used for your experiment? Mine is in the wash, so I cannot lend him mine.*

As if a laser is equal to string. Lasers aren't straight and string is. We all know that.

* edit: I didn't realise you need a few miles of string. How many Bunnings stores do I need to visit?

"Pull a long string a few miles in length or any decent length tight across a straight beach."

Bunnings mate or your local hardware shop.

If it shows there's SFA drop off after pulling the string tight then you can always pull out their atmospheric refraction get out of jail card.

Uhhh, duhh! A mile and a few metres of really good name-brand string, and some really strong guys to hold it.

Wait for a wind-free day though as the cross-breeze invalidates the results.

Laser? Pfft!
