I always love getting new toys and this time is really exciting cause it's my first ever 12'6" race board. For the last 3 years I've only ever had from 14' to 17' long race boards which sometimes feel like "just too much board".

I love that I can just carry it the 100 metres I need to hit the water instead of having to use a quiver kaddy. So much easier to manage and store especially in the already crowded garage of toys !!

I'm also loving to just "play" on it, practicing kick turns etc. It's freshened my approach and outlook to training after just doing the long hard yards and miles for the last couple of years. Might even start some "in & out" training for the first time.

Looking forward to getting out there more now and enjoying this wonderful thing we all love to do !! I was so excited to take her (yes it's a her !! ) out for her maiden voyage that I asked a friend to come down and take some pics. So exciting that I wanted to share how stoked I am !!
