Wondering if I can get some thoughts and comments on the Star-board TAC wood deck construction.
Is it holding up well, compressing, sinking and how is the grip standing up to the rigours of surfing ?
Also, is it true it comes with clear railsaver tape or is that after market ?
Any comments would be appreciated as my Whopper Candy deck showed compressions behind the centre standing pad from the very first surf every time my back heel dropped back for turns and my Big Easy Candy deck has bubbled which is a shame as it surfs fun so I'm thinking of changing construction rather than board brand.
I had to take some shot's of my boards for my Home Contents Insurance renewal and thought it'd be sweet to post some shot's and see what some of the 'breezers have sitting in their shed's in terms of 'The Quiver'.
Gotta admit, I really enjoyed lining them out rather than having them tucked away in covers and stacked - felt proud but also guilty to have so much invested in surfcraft.
So, here's mine, love to see your Quiver too.

Hey my good sweeping friends, hows everyones stoke? My stoke level has tipped the scales today I went and sold my trusty, first love 11'2, went to the shop and bought myself the 9'8 x 30 TAC. Took it straight to the beach and went for a paddle. HOW STOKED AM I!? What a beautiful looking board. Not much swell aound in Perth at all today but I managed to escape the dog eat dogs at Trigg Point and found myself a breaking wave at *cough cough* I cant wait to get some Gopro footage but will have to warn everyone in advance that my smile is from ear to ear So if this offends you please look away or maybe go back to surfing the short board with the rest of them Here are some photos I took after it got wet this morning...
