Had a great day sailing with not much breeze in the morning on the 5/2/12.
Left Redland Bay approx 1100 hrs with the missus and 2 good friends. Water temp was a balmy 27deg.
Sailed towards Peel and saw it was like a car park on Xmas eve so headed towards Straddie. The Breeze that was with us approx 10kts deserted us so decided to head to Blakesleys. By this time with low 30 deg temps and only shade being the sails, we decided to take a dip in about 5 meters of water and trawl for sharks
At one stage my mate was swimming faster than we were moving.
Once at Blakesleys we enjoyed the serenity of the beach as there was only 3 other boats there and a whole beach to explore
Trip back was keel up and straight across Pelican Banks with turtles for company. Hard buggers to photograph.
Sad thing was, we only saw 3 other sets of sails all day. Moreton is a big beautiful bay and at the moment its full of STINKIES. Come on guys get out there you don,t know what your missing

Cheers
Ken
