Excellent detailed review as usual!
Although I am on F-One gear, I did go to a test event 18 months ago where I got to test the majority of the AFS range back to back. Was very impressed by the overall build quality and stiffness of the 80cm Skinny mast, turning of the 850 Silk, and pump and glide and (relative) turnability of the Pure HA 800. Just all great, high quality products. I also tried the ultra-smooth Enduro 700 and 900 (it was a busy afternoon of testing!) and said to the dealer that an Enduro 800 would probably be "the one to rule them all". This was before the 800 was announced/in production, so I was happy to hear AFS' Enduro 800 announcement a few months after. Right now (and after reading your report) I am hoping to try the Enduro 800 and the Silk v2 at a next test event if I get the chance, because I ask myself the question: will these be the foils that finally make me abandon my entire F-One quiver? Since testing the AFS foils it was always in the back of my mind that if I switch brands, AFS would be top of my list. I've been quite happy with F-One but the (obligatory) inevitable investment into their new Titan 2 system might end up being just as expensive as switching brands... So might as well put AFS back on the radar as well
