First foil that ever made me think "If there can be only one..."

LMK if there's anything missing. I'll probably throw up a little youtube chat on this one as well.

Nice write up as always :)That 90-95cm seems to be my sweet spot as well for alrounders, but I can see that is a weight class related thing as a friend of me who is 65kg has the same with 82cm span foils as THE allrounder size. You wrote that you tried the Skinny80 UHM. How is it compared to rhe normal 80UHM? I tried an 75 Skinny UHM, but that was not stiff enough for my 97kg combined with 900-1300cm foils.

There's some versatile magic in that 90-95cm range for sure! I'm sure weight and location matters as well.

80cm skinny is definitely stiffer than the 75 but I need some time to ride it before I give it my stamp of approval.

Interesting how the average speed ends up being quite similar between small and large foils.

Excellent detailed review as usual!

Although I am on F-One gear, I did go to a test event 18 months ago where I got to test the majority of the AFS range back to back. Was very impressed by the overall build quality and stiffness of the 80cm Skinny mast, turning of the 850 Silk, and pump and glide and (relative) turnability of the Pure HA 800. Just all great, high quality products. I also tried the ultra-smooth Enduro 700 and 900 (it was a busy afternoon of testing!) and said to the dealer that an Enduro 800 would probably be "the one to rule them all". This was before the 800 was announced/in production, so I was happy to hear AFS' Enduro 800 announcement a few months after. Right now (and after reading your report) I am hoping to try the Enduro 800 and the Silk v2 at a next test event if I get the chance, because I ask myself the question: will these be the foils that finally make me abandon my entire F-One quiver? Since testing the AFS foils it was always in the back of my mind that if I switch brands, AFS would be top of my list. I've been quite happy with F-One but the (obligatory) inevitable investment into their new Titan 2 system might end up being just as expensive as switching brands... So might as well put AFS back on the radar as well

I've always been surprised by how close the speed comparisons are as well. When I first started tracking and comparing average speeds between masts, years ago, I expected to see these large spreads but that wasn't the case. What it taught me is that all these seemingly small upgrades in efficiency actually matter and a few percentage points of gains can make or break my swell riding experience.

You're a foil oracle! It's definitely the best all-rounder for me from AFS.

I was curious about how close the upwind vs downwind speed actually was yesterday I checked it and it's almost exactly the same. Lap 1, 3, 5 are downwind and lap 2, 4, 6 are upwind.
