II've heard a couple of times over the last few days that F-One might be close to releasing a new 12 mm mast, possibly with a small change to the SK8 fuselage as well. This is pure beach talk, so I'm not sure how reliable it is.
I'm about to order a new mast and would hate to buy the current one only to find out there's an upgrade coming next month ??
Has anyone heard anything or got more solid info?
also heard some rumours at the beach about a new system and no compatibility between them.
Cannot imagine this to be true but as here in Europe all dealers are putting their stock items of their SK8 foils on sale maybe it could be true...
Does not make any sense to make a sale of their hottest product if there were no major changes?
We will see it anyways.
I personally would not buy anything right now and wait untill the new release for 2026.
This is the video I saw on YouTube
?si=5xkTuHP9wjgpUuu-Wow that's really interesting. I demoed, fell in love with, & ordered an F one setup last year only to cancel it a week later when the media was awash with lost foils & broken screws. I then got a code setup. Looks like the fuse system is identical to the code one.
Found some images on the F-one website of the new range. Looks like it will be available early February in select shops. New surf foil in there as well, called Sushi.

Yes, it is fact- called the 'Titan2' system. But as I am already invested in 4 foils, 2 carbon masts, and 5 mono tails I won't be buying into the new system as I have never, or met anyone who has, snapped a screw or lost a plane using the Titan1 system.
Will be some cheap gear soon!

I've no complaints about the current system, but I'm relatively light and don't use big high aspect foils. I think the new system is meant to address those use cases.

The new mast's tapered connection is supposed to address carbon wear. The new "fuse" is taller, but not wider, so hopefully it won't increase drag.
I'm loving the "Sushi" foil name ![]()
"Sashimi" would've been better.
I have a new mast on order, together with V3 Sk8 plane and new Eagle plane. Was supposed to be delivered last week, but exactly the gear I ordered was delayed (had I just picked 85cm/850 I wouldve been riding already but I had to be special with 95cm/750...). Will probably be a month or so. Will let you know what I think compared to the 14mm and 16mm masts and previous generation planes. I've heard that the new connection makes a big difference in the feel in terms of stiffness of the connection.
I'm chuckling in my head that they named it as a full on dad joke.
"Let's call it sushi cause its got roll." ![]()

It dices and slices sea life. At least they didn't name it Kamikaze, or Harakiki or Seppuku. (I, for one, prefer lower A/R, thicker foils).
