i was on 5.0m fully downhauled and in gusts had to sail upwind or sheet out.
had to stop after 1 hour,forearms were dead.
15/20 maybe with 25/30 gusts.
The graph for Melville always underreads by at least 5 knots in a norwester, so 20 -25 plus gusts. Does that sound more like it? The anemometer is toward Peli and is somewhat sheltered in a NW.
