Snapped these off down south today scouting tracks and accesibility. One of these breaks is at least mast and a half and thats on a 3.5 m swell. I marine a 6 meter!!
Trial Harbour must be worth a try, that's a great photo Dave, looks like a pretty clean channel to get out through and a great wave. Felix and I are keen to give it a go but it will take you Pottssy to lure us out. Can't see any kelp on the wave so that's a bonus and doesn't look that dangerous. Need to do it while you're still in the state mate.
Oh - god yes - Trial would be fantastic! The problem is that we need a SSE for the left. Does the right work ok in a NNW or NW. I have sen it hold up beautifully in an Easterly for surfing but it looks a bit fat in cross shore winds.
We've gone Red again...woohoo..hopefully this time it will happen...forcast looks good but not sure if its the best Direction for the west coast...there must be some options over there somewhere

Another Red Bull Storm Chase down - this time for airport strikes!! This is so much harder than I expected. Looks like we have a month break now for the PWA then October they are still keen to do at least one mission here.
Your right Jez...the winds still going to be about so maybe a trip to the NW or west coast anyway may be the go...Thurs doesnt look too bad for the Henty. Will be bloody cold though...wont be going anywhere near those big swells...have to be a bit nuts to go out in them
