Johno are you driving poppy harvesters?

As for impact vests, I know they don't look cool but I never go out without one.. As Kazza said they give you extra buoyancy and brilliant in the waves when you're trying to water start in between sets. I reckon it's saved my life on those long swims (50 mins at Margaret River was the longest) when I've been separated from my gear.
Makes water sarts very easy, should talk all newbies into wearing them but have to convince them they are 'cool', that might be hard

Houston I have two harvesters and contract to TPI. A couple of years ago I had to drive though your farm to get to a circle of poppies NW of town.
Not sure where we will be working this season or if they have any planted down your way.
Worst thing about harvesting is it gets in the way of sailing for about 5 weeks from mid Jan

Who cares about being cool, I'd rather be alive.

I got the Mystic Razor PFD like Ant (Because he looked so good in it ) it’s fantastic and I wear it all the time.
It made a real difference when learning to water start; it certainly saves energy while in the deep water and recovering the rig. It also gives me added confidence and protection when it all goes wrong.
