Yeh Carl it's been about 10 to 15 most of the day from around the SW direction, Robe airport is pretty good but the robe one is behind the postoffice under the trees and is very ordinary, the cape jaffa one always seems to read higher than it is and is apparently close to the beach, just remember these are on towers 30 meters or so up.

I have to take the barby down tommorrow so will throw some posts in the trialer for the fire.

i find its always windy on afl gf day and this year lets just say i was in no condition to do anything bar yell at my tv.
doing arvos till sat so wont hit the 'experience' till sun or mon.
another gf = another windy day lets hope so.
my early week research suggests the boys and girls on the lake will be lapping it up sat and sun.
wave'os might get some action sunday, poley speaking.
trying to get my head around where the poley action will be if in a NNE - N - NNW 20k+ as forcasted. could it be the beachport experience at robe?

gunna be good to actually sail with someone else,, being getting lonely by myself. now I will find out how slow i really am.
North winds are a lot better from the 5 mile for flat water, we can always sail downwind from the spit, or the big lake if you like a bit of chop jumping.

Yeah, what are the do's and don'ts of driving the Spit Rd for an asphalt numpty like me ?. Jimbob took me there once, but I don't remember. It's a long skinny track looking at it from space.

Almost ready to go...may need a trailer for the booze cause the car is full of windsurfing gear! Priorities...????

was hoping but don't think the shoulder is up to it yet and being on the spit I'd only push it too far, so will be sensible (first time) and give this one a miss !

Thanks Jay - after some thought I've decided not to come this time around but I am intending to go on some of these trips in the future. May head down to Day St Sunday morning.
