great call gunna nothing like a set of speed stripes over those speed humps out there they call swimmers, Tractor you should upgrade to the Quad so that you can get the quad puncture marks in the Hammy when you try the next big stunt ouch that must have hurt

I would join in on the demo but whos going to pay for the insurance for when I snap it in two
I have a habit in sending a few things back to the shop over the years cause I'm to hard on my gear

I think its healthy to talk about different fin options. It only went pear shaped when muzza bitched about hating his quad and hail sprouted bull thats not true.

I am up for quads, they are good in surfboards, sup and kiteboards so why would they not be in windsurfing. Its only the first year in development. Bet they are even better in a couple of years.

Doesn’t Muzza sell Starboard.......?? or am I missing something.

1. Are the JP Quads convertable to a twinnie - are they the same botton shape (Bertie might be able to tell us)

2. Where do the thrusters fit in -
they were a revolution in getting power off the bottom turn - first came to light in around 1981 when Simon Anderson used them in 15ft+ Bells contest (yes I was there watching and I remember walking down to the beach and looking at Winkie Pop going - maybe tomorrow!!) so what are they like on modern design windsurf baords)

Yes they are. They have the same hull shape with different box arrangements and size. Reg didnt order any of the kauli twins because of this. However the 63L twin is not offered in the quad. I'm not sure why, maybe weight or the board wasnt wide enough, or maybe they concentrated their R and D onto the common sized boards.
