this weekend is confusing? which day to go.

the bom, which is never right is saying 20-25 SE.

i think once again seabreeze (or the euros) have it right again.

wello? VP? Goldy?

Easterly! I was thinking of having a look at banana bank. It looks like it might provide a nice speed run at low tide. Has anyone checked it out?

Well 20knots is on seabreeze for midnight Saturday night...hmmm would want a high tide and full moon for that.

I am considering a drive down to the goldy on Sunday for something different. Will see what the wind is doing as it gets closer.

Yep - I think VP Sat around the high tide for me. SE more likely for Sat as I think will turn more E on Sun, even Sat pm. Fingers crossed for a Sat sail

Yeah, I think I'll check out VP also. There may be some nice bumps rolling down the channel in that very easterly wind.

What time is good for VP tomorrow?

Minstral Nick - suggest before high tide if there is enough wind. I think High Tide is around 10:30am so maybe an hour before. You need to be there close to high tide as the tide goes way out and a long walk at low tide plus pretty muddy way out. Also you were asking how to get there. Head to Vic Point and turn right at Thompson St, then right again near the beach area. We generally rig at the right hand end of the beach, but I see others now rigging at either end. I think the kiters prefer the left hand end. Keep an eye out as it seems there will be a few there tomorrow.
Hope to see you there.
Cheers - Greg W

Yeah that rain has killed it off where I am as well.

Now it just looks like a miserable day, the cams on the Goldie don't make it look very promising either.

And 30knots is not too bad.

ewww, rain.

Heater busted on car so must use a/c to clear windscreen. Like driving in a freezer.

Wind dropping off.

Enthusiasm waning...

I'm still thinking VP. Had a look at Shearwater this morning. Looked like Shearwater. 20K SE, bit of chop, outgoing tide just starting up.

I'm waiting until somebody says something positive.
