I am happy to survive on 8m2 racing sail and JP slalom board all gusts ![]()
Even not the wind speed make a problem but the big chop sometimes prevent to release full speed on such gear.
that's ballsy sailing woorim at dark.
how are the banks there? used to be some waves up at fifth ave.

yeah it was pretty fun! lots of adrenalin sailing into the unknown darkness! the street lights at 5th avenue allowed for a reference point to sail back to. doing a forward in pitch black is one of the most fun things i've done this week!
Yeah on certain tides you can get waves at 5th, but its windswell not ground swell (unless its a big east/noreast swell)
lol, just this week..... that's the comment of the year.
I take my hat off to you sailing there at night. ![]()
I've been wanting to supsail fifth ave for a while now and think i'll do it for sure this summer.
If wind comes later afternoon today , KFC looks like place to be today , not Shearwater.
What do you think ?
Well it was great north of Wave Break Island from 12 - 3pm. Slalom 66 and 7.8 was all that was needed. ![]()
