Was interesting tweaking the set ups and having a sail on the big learner boards...big difference between the Green and Blue one!
It's pretty hard for learners to push their progression when the wind isn't consistently co operating, but there is massive improvement from all that I saw!
Highlight of the day was Jeff's 'lay down' gybe...he 'literally' took the laydown seriously,
Had time of my life yesterday

Must admit I felt anxiety turning up with a new board

- again!!!
Sailed on one board one sail all day - got to be happy with that

Jonesy taking my board for a run was reassuring for me when he reported the setup was very close to trim
Sailing with a friendly gang was a joy - had some long runs with more experienced sailors. I'm not as fast a Pete and Jonesy - always next year

Weyba really delivered - wind was gusty at times, less chop in the middle compared to Cootharaba and Bribie passage
"Lay down gybe". - yes - must remember to loosen the foot in the strap first. I'm off to X-ray today after a very long night with a throbbing foot

Disasterous trip home...
When I got a FLYING OBJECTS board bag little did I realise...
I'll post the story in another thread - minimal damage

So only a little hiccup to a a very memorable day
Thanks everybody a great time
Cheers Jeff
