's wot I wus thinking. Had also mentally hung up until spring, but work is total crap this week, so I have time on my hands, so I'm sniffing the air. Good direction on offer for Kirra and Currumbin. Nice clear water. All we need is a bit of sunshine and can't go wrong.
So, hypothetically speaking, if there were to be wind tomorrow, from the hypothetically indicated direction, where would the hypothetical sailors be headed tomorrow ? I would hypothetically be going to Kirra or Currumbin.
If the forecast stands true... minus the rain, I'll be at wello. Prob get there early. But I too am sceptical. Having said that, I've already loaded the car!
had a once in 5 year full-on easterly wind today and sailed from the shearwater to the grand twice before the rain set in. i had people in their cars driving along broadwater esp waving to me as i gavem a drag. one lady was so impressed she even flasher her 8oo8ies
looks like one of the first seabreezes for the season saturday. fingers crossed
The rain has stopped and the wind is on it's way. Fingers crossed anyway. I'm heading down to wello now. Hopefully the wind arrives when I do. I'll give an update if it's any good
Still raining here, but I'll pack the car and head up the coast and see what I find. Anyone know if you can still park at the Train ?

Just got to wello. Wind is about 2 kts from the west! On a bright note tho, the sun is out, the tide is good and there is a wind shaddow approaching from the NE... or is that a school of fish! Oh well, I think I'll rig up and hope for the best. I'll give another update if the school of fish gets closer
Changed one set of guitar strings. About the most useful thing I can do on a crap day like today. Still raining here, but has eased up a bit. Was really tonking it down before.
