will wello be flatter than manly in a N / NE?

Not flatter than inside the bay at manly. But in the open it is a bit better for going fast as the chop is more swell like. If it is NE then it is quite flat in behind the bank, if the wind is too north for going down the bank then you can bare off on the other tack where you are running along the swell.

If jumping is what you are after the chop stands up perfectly just the wello side of the channel into aquatic paradise where there is a bank which you can touch bottom on at low tide.

The only downsides are manly is normally a bit more windy and also the fleet of kites after school time, but since they like posing for the cameras you just stay upwind of them

looks like i'll go to wello with the rest of the cool kids.

If you on a slalom board start at wello and sail over- you get a good Nm on your way through.

See ya all there

That was superb! Now all we need is daylight savings so that we can do that every day after work!

That was fun. Really lovin' the new sail, super stable and has a great top end, can't wait to get it in the waves. Spent most of my time doing super short runs and getting my gybes dialed, was pretty happy with them by the end.

Some really impressive freestylin' from haircut/will and co. Need to pull my thumb out and learn some tricks.
