Strong wind tends to stir up lots of dust and pollen causing severe allergic reactions and hayfever. Many windsurfers suffer from this affliction !!!

Was pretty windy walking home from uni, I think I'll have some lunch and then pack the car.... any updates would be awesome richie

I don't think any of the wind meters around are accurate for westerlies... had was solid 15kts sunday arvo, but nothing over 10kts on any of the observations

results are in. Wello was good.(apart from the mud trudge at the end). 15 knots W most of the time with a few holes....Game on again tomorrow with 20 knots predicted.

A bad days sailing is better than a good days study, said sumone. Don't believe them tho. I haven't been able to come by a good day of actually study yet so i can't exactly comment. in saying that wello today was ****. off and on crap, but i was on small gear, it would have been good on big gear.

hehe, whats small gear? I was on a 5.9m and 92L board, not small, but not really big either. I just mess around with light wind tricks when its off, wish we didn't have to do the massive trudge through the mud thou, thats really no fun at all. Was that you on the red NP sail?

Wasn't the best wind, but can't complain really, its been quite windy for this time of the year actually. I think I've sailed almost twice a week the past 3 weeks. What we really need is the same deal that haircut has done with the devil, I swear I see him planing when there isn't even ripples on the water surface [}:)]

I dont know how he (Haircut) does it either. I suspect he has bird bones..(hollow) and therefore has no weight. He also does forward loops on flat water....wtf ???

Great shots HC. You must have had a late trip back if you were still taking pictures at that time of the evening. I hope old mate freestyler had a thick wetsuit on, looks cold to me.

Thanks HC for the snaps! It takes real dedication to do that in the cold, much appreciated.
Yes, you can get a cold ar*se out there. But No, Vando wasn't required to warm it up....I'm saving that for Evil Panda!

I love how the quality of the actions shots are so good that you can keep re-living the moment on windless days... or when you are doing assignments
