Hey Gesty, a good kiting site, some nice pics, hope your not going to the darkside [}:)] just to try the island. take a boogey board for the kids (and yourself). I used to take my nephew over there. Its a bit of a goat track getting down there but well worth it even just to get wet with the family.
Another nice bay for family swim etc is alma bay (just on other side of geoffrey by)
even used to have life savers and did get the big swell but the bay is to small for sailing.![]()
If I can convince the Mrs (who wants to go to WA), she and I might do this trip next year. I am looking at our application for leave forms right now. If you could pick any 2 or 3 month period which months would be best? I would like to include my first Burrum event so would it fit best on the way up or on the way back?
Don't want the hassle of the wet season but don't want to miss the wind either.
Anyone interested in a loose travelling relationship (I mean meeting up here and there on the journey) would be more than welcome.
We would be taking a caravan so slow and steady.
