sooo...it's forecast to go NE again in the arvo

won't it be high tide-ish at currumbin, maybe that's a better option?


Prolly too late to tell ya but nope, high tide is about 9:30 at the moment and low at 3:30.

nevermind - it had its moments, but mainly a typical currumbin frustrating 13.7 knots. just enough to plane but unable to do anything fun

maybe later in this week will be better

What a strange day Monday was, all the charts showing 20ish knots but nothing on the water, maybe the wind was a little higher, is it possible the hot air rising kept it above us? It was really hot until about 1pm then the temp dropped by 10oC very quickly

Where were you ?
It was still hot as blazes here at Tweed when I finished work. Looked like there was enough breeze to tempt, but not enough to sail in.
