I'm sure there's a Mistral Flow kicking SEQld with a questionable nose job that will help you crack 30 knots

Hope I will be back on the water soon!. Having X-ray and seeing the doctor next week and hopefully can take the boot off. I will probably have to have quite a bit of physio before I can get back on the water. 10 weeks without walking as left my left leg in bad shape and my ankle is very stiff with limited movement.

The GPS is collecting dust , but I cant wait to get out there again.

Looking at getting another board, You guys got any suggestions for something that is FAST?

What type/size of board? Since your small stick to as narrow as possible and something that rides more off the fin.

Kellie, good to see you are really on the mend now. Yes physio is very important, so make sure you have a good therapist and follow their advice ......... and you'll be out on the water. I'm feelin pretty good now

Hi Kellie Good to see ya on the mend.
What Size sail do you want to use on it, are you going to do some more Slalom Racing next season. I Do know Pierre has his 100lt Turbo Boost for sale.

Thanks guys

I have only really had wave gear for quite some time but am loving the GPS stuff so need to rethink my gear.

I would mostly be using the board with my 6.6m and maybe my 5.8m, (although I do need to also rethink my quiver too at some stage)I may do some slalom next season, so don't necessary want a full on dedicated speed board just yet.

I would be using it to replace my 100lt exocet freestyle board, so maybe something like Pierre's board might be good.

Good to see things coming together for the team. Kellie your ankle will be very weak and probably have no movement in it, I had to do a serious amount of stretching on mine and it still does not have full movement. I'm thinking of having a team bbq etc at my place on a windless weekend whats everyones thoughts.

no worries Kellie, we will keep your foot straps warmed for you.

i'll leave nxs out of this cause i know you have sail the stuff, though pete has a new speed board worthy of a session on. just not built for chop.

that said it's pretty hard to look past the Carbon art for flat water and small chop.

if you want to go fast then the CA47 or 44 maybe. seems everyone that gets one goes faster.

but if you are looking for something to use at mooloolaba then maybe something different

And as a $2000 less versatile purchase not a wise move.

Asking from suggestions from us is a can of worms.

So in something versatile (fast slalom)... about 100L-

You've tried the Lorch?
Tried the Futura?
Try an Isonic 101
Try Pierre's board
Then try a falcon [}:)]

Have tried the lorch, seemed fast, but only used it at the lake. Hopefully will get a chance to try a few more boards, the ones Mark suggested sound like the sort of thing I might be after

Hey Shaun, the BBQ thing sounds like a great idea. Keep us posted.

That would be great Fitz Just not May 17.

Kelly have a talk to Maximus ( AKA Jasin ) about the boards. He has done heaps of testing on different boards and come up with some surprising results. We found for us the Freerace like the Futura much better in the high wind than pure slalom. This was because they are so controlable and being very powered up you can look for more wind without the fear of tripping that rail. We rode a small Isonic and were very wary all the time. His times also are very impressive for Caloundra. Also look at his Nautical Mile ( Burrum Heads ). He was over 30ktns on a Futura 93. Not bad for a freerace.

I ordered a F101 after much discussion and thought ( 85kgs ). Hopefully next season I'll get some good times for the team.
