Hmmm, you know it is predicted ESE tomorrow, which means you could go a nice long reach from Shearwater all the way down to Land's End, even The Grand at Labrador. Might be nice for a change. Tide wouldn't matter.

... if anyone's arms are still working.

Afternoon?

great day out on the water today. god im sore, its been at least 18 months since ive been out sailing. Thanks Nate, had a blast, but wasnt popular when i got home. the wind kicked it up a bit towards the end as the tide came in and it hurt to do more runs. it was awsome.

Hey what's wrong with my gybes? It's probably too subtle but they're actually a serious of linked new school moves, "drunk style". Hook back in half way round - to - both feet on the tail/tail stand - to - no foot, no board forward. Then I hide under the sail, which side am I gonna come up? Will I come up?

Actually I landed a few last weekend, I have a witness.

Bribie Island, it'll be dark by the time I get there.

SSW:

Shearwater might be alright in the mornings, faces ESE?
El traino will likely be el crappo. Was all over the place last time.
Lands End? The Grand?

I'm even starting to look closer to home:

You make it sound like there was but one : (

Location is here.
www.google.com.au:443/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode&q=monterey+keys,qld&ie=UTF8&ll=-27.888976,153.362671&spn=0.004372,0.009356&t=h&z=17

There are still empty blocks at end of Kim Court where you could rig up, the rest of the North side is all houses. The southern side still looks the same - undeveloped and flat.

I've no idea if you can windsurf there or not. I'm sure the residents would get a kick out of it, at least for the first hour or so. Don't know how security would handle it. Don't know if there are bullies in there, I doubt it.

When I scoped it out it looked gusty, but then westerlies always are anyway.

Let you know now you won't sail there too long before the local stuck ups get there knickewrs in a knot. Plenty of security there watching but the water is not good in there - is has had issues in the past of contamination from various buliding sites

SW looked too wet and windy and i was about to pike when i saw Jerry (stitchers and all) blasting alone out in the middle. If Jerry's out there i don't have any excuses.
Glad it did, it was awesome!
