if u grab a ruler and lay it on the tail, the 2010 & 2011 seems to have more rocker in the far end of the tail than other freestyle boards i've looked at, but less rocker up front. maybe that's its reason for it's very soft ride in chop?
for it's size i don't think i've ridden anything more soft and forgiving than the JP 2010 & 2011 FS in chop, but i don't think the SFT would be much harder ride than a typical JP FSW
I don't think chop performance is really high on the list for the single thruster, it's a pretty unexciting board in flat water, afterall its really meant to be sailed in waves.
What's your lightwind board now you don't have the FS?
for what its worth, I run the 2011 99l SFT, I weigh in at a svelte 95kg and a petite 188cm
Love this board
fast on flat, chase me next time Im out and see
great in chop
jumps sweet as bro
turns incredible, so much more like a surfboard.
My 1 board wonder
Single fin thruster refers you can sail it as a single fin, or a thruster.
Hey HC i think the lighter colour weave you see in the deck is the kevlar because they are a carbon/kevlar construction from what i understand. Maybe someone who knows a bit more will know for sure but that's what i assumed kevlar being a yellowish colour. My All Ride pro also has the same looking deck under the graphics and it's carbon/kelvar as well.
evlPanda everyone seems to be calling them a single FIN thruster but i thought they were just called a single thruster being the description of the 2 ways the board can be set up. If you've been sailing more than 4 1/2 months then no your not the new kid on the block anymore i'm the new wood duck you see out on the water trying to look like he knows what he is doing.
And where the f**k is my tax return ranga, i'm hangin to go pick up my board, man this is frustrating quick to take it slow to return it.
