the BOM say reaching 15-20 at times this arvo and they're never wrong ^ .
^ thats my sarcasam mark by the way.![]()
if anyone lucky enough to not be at work is looking for a breeze, there's some wind here at the shearwater, and wind against tide till 4pm.its the best it's looked for the last few days
What about da Train ?
I'm not sure if I'm keen on the drive to SW.
that's more like the wind we should be having huey
Ken - i stopped at train on way through but the carpark was more chockas than ever with people using it as a free all-day-parking (i think council will make parking in the cul de sac short lived as a result of this
). wind against tide at SW helped too
something's up with the coolangatta wind meter. it used to be fairly honest on a northerly but lately it's suffered severely from b.o.m bloat. I was sitting in my car at kirra at lunch time with no more than 10 knots, kiters couldn't even keep the kites in the air, yet the bom obs were saying 14-15knots
with the trough moving closer to the coast tomorrow, maybe it will be even better tomorrow?
Just got back from the Bin. Lots of tea-bags, enough wind for a SUP splodge, but not enough for honest sailing.
Good chin wag though.
Looks like a NE has rolled in - 19knots at airport according to BOM - will try for a sneaky afternoon session.
