Awesome poster. That could almost go directly onto the shirt. I like the fact that for the one and only time in my life I am in front of Fyfe and it is on film - SWEEET. Did you have your fin cover on that day big fella???
PS: My wife has asked that the shirts be anything other than white if you do them, the white ones seem to attract hot dog sauce?.?.
Notice of Racehttp://www.baysidesailboards.com.au/notice/states%20notice2009.pdf
Here's looking forward to the biggest race meet in Qld this year. With local club rounds attracting upto 40 plus sailors, we are seriously looking to see 50 competitors come along and enjoy some red hot racing.
There are four fleets available from open to first time rookies. It is without a doubt that the rookie and freeride fleets this season have contributed to a huge growth in the number of competitors on the water. So we openly invite all that have yet to give slalom racing a try to head on down and check it out.
This is the last official event of the Bayside Calendar, so if the winds are kind and decide to blow, we are shaping up for a great meet.
Just a note - this event is over 2 days and both days count, so if you miss one you could still do well on the other. You will also notice that we are starting earlier in the day, and plan to run 8 races per day.
Any enquiries should be directed to info@baysidesailboards.com.au
See you on the water.
Only 3 days to go!
Hopefully the wind hangs around! cant wait to start sledging Chris in the Freeride.
Hi Guys,
its your hopeless treasurer here again. If you can possibly have your correct money ($40) for racing on Saturday, would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.
Great venue, great setup, great t-shirt, great sausage sizzle, great mates.....just not enough wind. Oh well...that's the nature of our sport. Maybe tomorrow... maybe next week. ![]()
day one action pictures !!! (no sailing, lots of talk)![]()
checkout those flags.
here Ray is saying to Kim, "pull my finger and we'll have some wind !!!"
The wind gods are not with us this weekend so we have cancelled the racing for today.
At the moment the plan is for the event to be re run hopefully next sunday (one day event).
We will email out a new notice of race closer to time.

Just a reminder guys that this Sunday is slowly starting to take shape. So keep your diaries open for the states re-run. Confirmation to come this Thursday.
Without letting the cat out of the bag
. It looks like we will be moving to manly due to the tide. We will have a 0.7m low at 1.30pm, so we should be able to race along the sand bank with little trouble. Wello would have the fleet just too far out to make it a spectator event, and we can stick an esky at the end of the rock wall for all sorts of refreshments during the racing
.
Scot - sign on; lunch with your mum at wilsons boathouse then excuse yourself for a short toilet break say 45-60 min, return for coffee and cake, blow out the candles then off to the toilet again - it may seem peculiar that you are dripping wet and out of breath. But who am I to judge your toilet habits![]()
Sorry for the late notice but its been one of those days.
We are on for sunday - the notice should be out tomorrow. The forecast is looking good for a south-easter, and as we are restricted by the tide we are moving the race to manly. The start time will be late morning at the moment but we will confirm it tomorrow.
For those that registered last week, your entry fees are carried over. For those that did not there Mikey will be waiting
. The plan at the moment is to try and get 8 races, and if we are really lucky we will top the season off the way we did last year with an absolute cracker.
See you on the water.
