location location?
Surely the trailer will be available for the great forecast on Monday and Tuesday too? ![]()
so shearwater it is for tomorrow and the forecast has changed 47 times in the past 48 hours and today was west but was actually noreast.
i'll be there with the trailer at 10, looking forward to seeing everyone!
heaps of fun today as the wind went from northeast to west and some diehards including the haircut planed away in dead offshore conditions. ![]()
southerly tomorrow!!!! after lunch here's hoping.![]()
Really keen to come down and check it out, does anyone have the exact address of both spots? Not too familiar with the area.
Do a google search of Shearwater Esplanade. It is at Runaway Bay right near Runaway Bay shopping centre. If you head directly East from Runaway Bay shopping centre on Lae Dv you will come to a T intersection and there is a blue sign on the pole that says Shearwater Park. Just follow the blue signs from there. Ian should be there between about 10 and 10.30. You will see him giving excellent tuition and advice with devastating effect.
it's dead off shore i sailed it yesterday at the demo got quiet strong out further but hard to get back in ![]()
If your keen for a sail just go to the spit after you check out all the new gear in the trailer. Personally i'm waiting until tomorrow and going to Shearwater for what looks like a good S-SE forecast if you can believe it
Great to hear the day went well, I sent the email to a number of mates who had expressed interest. Too bad about the westerlies but hopefully it didn't keep too many away.
Did you get good numbers?
NOW THE GOOD NEWS!
the demo trailer will be available next weekend, saturday the 8th and sunday the 9th of october from 10 am to 5 pm with captain kirk holding the keys to the booty!
it won't be a free lessons weekend but all the gear is available to competent windsurfers! rock on! ![]()
The trailer is sitting in the shed at surf fx due to no wind and i doubt it will be out tomorrow either but you could ring them and check
