Hey guys don't Forget to ask Ian and Michael from Surf FX.com for rigging tips so you can get the maximum performance from your gear. They have recently attended rigging clinics with Neilpryde sails head designer Robert Stroj and have lots of rigging tips and tricks to share. Looks like it's going to be a great weekend to be on the water.

Really keen to come down and check it out, does anyone have the exact address of both spots? Not too familiar with the area.

Do a google search of Shearwater Esplanade. It is at Runaway Bay right near Runaway Bay shopping centre. If you head directly East from Runaway Bay shopping centre on Lae Dv you will come to a T intersection and there is a blue sign on the pole that says Shearwater Park. Just follow the blue signs from there. Ian should be there between about 10 and 10.30. You will see him giving excellent tuition and advice with devastating effect.

If your keen for a sail just go to the spit after you check out all the new gear in the trailer. Personally i'm waiting until tomorrow and going to Shearwater for what looks like a good S-SE forecast if you can believe it

Great to hear the day went well, I sent the email to a number of mates who had expressed interest. Too bad about the westerlies but hopefully it didn't keep too many away.

Did you get good numbers?

We couldn't get out today. Pouring rain, thunder, lightning, fire and brimstone. Not ideal conditions to be in the middle of a body of water with a large pole.
