i'll be in geraldton - check the forecast.....![]()
ps - haircut i'm thinking of buying a handycam- any tips...
Woohoo,
but i still wanna find a freestyle board to last me the entire day :P
Sadly my ****ing rego is due! arghh
hahah i figured, i think ill just try and learn some duck gybes and practice me carve gybes. Then when im fluent, a freestyle board will magically appear on seabreeze that suits me :D
It would be cheaper to buy inter-state
Peter Nitsche; 2004 Starboard Freesex $890
Windsurfing Perth; 2008 Starboard Flare $825
sweet as, i wont be in a rush to use it for monday, as i intend to put more holes through my poison :P
Im picking up a 5.3 ice aswell.
5.3 + 5.9 all you need for freestyle?
just checked my messages, i sold my 04 freesex for $400, and that was with a $150 MFC freestyle fin and almost new dakine straps. Even if the board is brand spanking new, its still not worth much more then $500, its a 6 year old board, that was probably only worth $2100 brand new. I'd say the website is pretty out of date, go check it out with cash in hand, if he wants more then $500 he's dreaming.
and yeah, 5.3 (25% of the time) and 5.9 (70% of the time) is all i use, plus a 4.5 for those 2-3 nukin days a year.
yes, it's all a bit wierd.
the model that seabreeze uses had a low forming in the coral sea and whipping up some SE winds.
that was today replaced by a low down south which would give us N-NW winds.
current model has a very interesting low forming north east of fraser island on sunday, intensifying monday and then moving away towards the SE and dissapearing. i'm guessing seabreeze will soon show this in the graphs.
a lot of models are going for a low in the coral sea so time will tell. seabreeze models are usually very good at picking up the lows. problem is there is so much upper trough action at the moment everything is changing daily. i just wish they would bugger off so we can get some decent lows spinning up in the coral sea.
edit.....
guru is still going for Northerly winds but either way it looks like good wind here form sunday...... maybe.
BOM is sitting on the fence saying SE then switching to N
Glad I'm not the only one as confused as crap about the changeing forecast. I'm trying to organise a garage sale for the weekend, without blocking off potential sailing time.
Monday morning, I'm loading everything I own in my van and heading off to Currumbin to see what happens. Hopefully, there will be something.
