i have a 3.0m that we could use but some how i think you might not even need a sail if you are up further north

yeah, it's a monster alright.

all i can go off is 3.5m in 50 knots and i spent more time airbourne than sailing, gybes were out of control with the board lifting out of the water.......

and that was in a third of the wind strength.

anything can happen but i agree gary.

if i was living in bundaberg/burrum/hervey bay i'd be packing the car ready for a trip to the goldy.

that whole area is very low.

a really hope everyone ends up ok,

there is chatter now regards the 74 floods being repeated in brisbane.

but again, anything is possible. it could also move out to sea.

here are the flood maps, you can change sea level up on the top left.

you can also pan the maps for different areas. includes all of east coast.

that would be the people on the weather forums chattering or "Theorising".

most agreed that the biggest difference would be that the 74 floods occurred because the monsonal band was dragged across brisbane which is not the case this time.

at the end of the day, if the forecast track occurs and hamish crosses at noosa or north and turns into a rain depression there is most likely going to be significant flooding. "most likely"

every cyclone that has done that previously has caused severe flooding.

outrageous i don't think so. mother nature can throw anything our way.

do i know what the outcome will be. nope. but i'll be watching.

certainly i'm not running for the hills.

It's true. It's all connected to Global Warming and the Global Financial Crisis. We can thank all those that bought plasma TVs and voted Labor. We will definitely see repeat of 74 floods Q2 this year, followed by a housing crash of 30%. Note that all this started when twin fins came back. Twin towers, twin fins... it's not coincidence. Go to www.naughtytwins.com for the truth.

Iv got better photos but there not on my computer
The top one is on the hard at Burnett heads also great windsurfing spot in a northerly and the other one is in the bluehole wavebreak island on the goldy.

ahh Bowden sweet! iv got a book on these designs
She looked bigger than 33
I bet she's quite roomy for her size
Is that peel in the back ground in your photo
So have you taken her to some nice places
