Not only silly, but stupid as well... wearing a leggie kiting is really not recommended. Ouch!

looks like the poledancer needs to learn wave right of way rules and a lesson in safety.

What do you mean ?

That kiter isn't on a wave.

He is somewhere down the shoulder, presumably admiring the view and looking for fish or something.

i reckon the kiter is about to brown stain....

the windsurfer was just showin off after he saw the activity on the beach.

In this photo I'd guess the kiter is holding the camera.
You can tell this by the excited look on the bimbo's face. She dosent seem to even notice the poledancer stuck on the sandbar behind herWheres a tug boat to save the stuck boat when you need one...ha ha ha
She knows what she wants, maybe she's not a bimbo after all.

originally i was going to say the guy on the windsurfer as he is looking downwind instead at the "young lady". but then i realised that kiters don't look downwind so i guess he is a windsurfer.

p.s. i don't think you should be calling people bimbos' just because some looks after themselves does not make them an air head.

Yes,sorry,you are right.
She is very smart, she must be,she is going for the kiter holding the camera, not the dancer stuck on the sandbar.
Very,very smart girl.
But is probly just more common scence than anything

Ps why would the dancer bother looking downwind??
He aint going no-where till high tide.
So you think he would look at the hottie while he waits..........or maybe that dosent interest him

well, you see windsurfers when launching look around both upwind and downwind to make sure they don't cause issue to anyone.

i know it's not something kitters do but that's what's going on.

She actually windsurfs.

And typical kiter having no idea of any water rules or respect for other water users..

I saw the shot before that one.
The kiter just got shot out of a huge tube as the poledancer tried to drop in falling off the lip.
Then got stuck on the sandbar while the kiter bumped uglies with the bikini girl.

Hey "lotofwind", your forum name aptly describes what you contribute to these forums.

Maybe you could redirect some of this energy in to "real" wind for the next summer on the east coast of NSW!

Bring on the NorEasters!!!

^^he he,yeah your maybe right.

But being serious, should the windsurfer be getting air that close to another water user,,no matter who is at fault??

If it was a kiter in the air and a dancer below,,,would it be different????

Serious question.

ok, all jokes aside,

there is no doubt the windsurfer has right of way. if the kiter was heading out then maybe you could cling to some form of reasoning but there is no dobt the windsurfer is in the pocket and has right of way.

this speaks volumes for why kiters get so much flack from windsurfers. not just in the surf but on flat water also.

fair enough,,but does that give the windsurfer the right to act dangerously to other water uses??

yes they do apply, but trying to mame someone dosent seem like a smart option.
If a car cuts you off on the road,do you then have the right to smash into it???

Im sure there must be something in your sailors rule book saying aviod colision at all cost no matter who is at fault???Not,,"well,he shouldnt have been there,so I can do what I want"

Without seeing any other frames, on the angle that the photo was taken maybe the windsurfer isn't as close to the kite surfer as the photo portrays!?!
